Whitnee Paige Kunschik was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is of Native American, German, and Swedish descent. She is known for her work In Scarefest (2014)Raised in the small town of Cashion, Oklahoma with her mother, step-father, and two sisters, her love for film started at a young age. In a town with the population of maybe 500, one corner store, a bank, and a tiny mom and pop café, you watch movies for entertainment, or create your own. At the age of 11 she received her first video camera, "hired" her friends as actors and her little sister as camera operator and began the venture of directing her own ultra low-zero-dollar-budget movies. She excelled in academics, arts, and athletics, and received a scholarship to play basketball at Northern Oklahoma College. She would later transfer to the University of Central Oklahoma where she studied broadcasting, acting, and history of film, prompting her to relocate to NYC. There, she worked on various music videos, short films, commercials, and the feature film, Scarefest.
