Tyson Pestner was well on his way to giving up on his dream of becoming an actor and going into physical therapy when he decided to study abroad in Ireland for the summer of 2009. It was a class offered by the theatre program at his alma mater at Cal State Long Beach and it reset his life. After returning to the states he obtained his degree while acting in many of the films created by the university's student filmmakers. His performance as Lucifer in the short film Divorcing The Devil helped to get it accepted in the LA Short Fest (2012). After graduation he returned to his home state in the Pacific Northwest to apprentice with a woodworker where he learned how to fell trees by hand with an axe before enrolling and continuing his acting studies at the Anthony Meindl Acting Workshop in Los Angeles. He has since started his own production company and has continued to create and act in short films being entered through the film festival circuit. When he is not acting, Tyson writes and produces short films for competition, plays Magic the Gathering, as well as working out and riding his bicycle.
