Tom Bott was born and raised in Surrey, England and grew up on a farm.As a boy Tom played a lot of Rugby and was the Surrey Judo champion two years running before having to stop to allow a back injury to heal.Tom has always had a deep love of the sea, during his teen years he was a qualified lifeguard and received the RYA 1, 2 ,3, Red, White and Blue for sailing.After leaving school Tom studied acting for two years in Guildford before landing his first job in a two and half month contract at the London Coliseum working with the ENO on La Clemenza Di Tito. After falling in love with Opera and the stage, Tom went on to work with the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden for two years on an assortment of productions, including Tosca, Die Tote Stadt, Simon Boccanegra, Lohengrin and Iphigenie, along with a selection of other stage productions.Tom made his international feature film debut in the hard-hitting, controversial movie 'Shank'. Tom played the complex character of Jonno, a sexually ambiguous scally who handles his best friends coming out particularly badly. Shank quickly became the best selling film of its genera to come out of the UK in over a decade, making it to the number one best sellers spot on Amazon and itunes in the UK and America.
