Born in Antwerp, Belgium. He lived there until age 7, after which he started traveling the world with his parents. By the time he was 18, he had seen half the world and moved well over 40 times, all the while trying to pursue a career as a professional tennis player. He eventually dealt with an injury that forced him to take time off and instead pursued his degree in the USA, while on a tennis scholarship. It is there he finally got his first real taste of acting. He double majored in Economics and Theatre, while playing for the varsity tennis team, later graduated Magna Cum Laude and had the opportunity to work on several stage productions while continuing to work on and improve his craft. Dealing with new surroundings and people everywhere he went, he learned to draw on these experiences to bring a unique realism to every role he undertakes. He currently resides in Los Angeles. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Thomas Bekkers
