Steve Goldbloom is a writer, producer and performer best known for creating Brief But Spectacular (2015), the weekly interview series for The Robert MacNeil Report (1975). The intention of Brief is to elicit empathy from the viewer by presenting an original voice on a universal subject and inviting the audience to walk in someone else's shoes.Since its launch in 2015, Steve has interviewed more than 300 guests, including: Alec Baldwin, Terry Gross, Danai Gurira, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Gloria Steinem, Norman Lear, Prisoners from San Quentin, Carl Reiner, Tig Notaro, Steve Martin, Bryan Cranston, Marina Abramovic, and many more.
