Stephen Ezra Hughes was born in Buffalo, New York, but raised in Miami, Florida. He was educated at Ransom Everglades School in Coconut Grove, Florida; Princeton University in New Jersey, where he sang with the a cappella group The Princeton Tigertones; and ESIC in Madrid, Spain, where he has made his home since 1986. In addition to acting before the camera, he is a voice producer, director, and artist for animation, documentaries, film, dubbing, advertising, and video games among other genres.
