The daughter of an Austrian diplomat and a Syrian painter, she and her family relocated to a different country every 3 years. She's lived in Egypt, Romania, Italy, Sri Lanka, Scotland, Jordan and Austria, and speaks fluent Arabic, German, Italian and English.
