Sitara Attaie is an Afghan born American actress who grew up in The Netherlands. She spent her early years learning several languages while living in Afghanistan, India, The Netherlands and now The United States. Sitara is fluent in Dari, Farsi, Dutch, German, Hindi, Urdu, Pashto and conversational French.Sitara received her BFA in English Literature from The University of Groningen, Associates Degree in Teacher Training certificate from Hanze Hoge School and her certificate in Journalism from Hoge School van Utrecht. Sitara is formally trained as an actor at the Lee Strasberg and The Actor's Workshop in Hollywood. She has worked on television shows such as: Homeland, Stumptown, True Blood and The X-Files.
