
            Iqbal (Shreyas Talpade) is a deaf and mute boy, who dreams of playing cricket for India. However, he is discouraged by his father who thinks that Iqbal's daydreams are a waste of time. Instead, he wants Iqbal to help him tend to the crops and become a farmer like him, which would be a stable profession.Iqbal's sister, Khadija (Shweta Prasad), however, helps him try out for a nearby academy run by Guruji (Girish Karnad), an influential former India captain, who accepts him for his talent. However, when Iqbal competes with a rich boy, Kamal, who is also the star of the academy, he is thrown out by Guruji out of fear of Kamal's father, who bankrolls the academy. Iqbal seeks help from the local drunkard, Mohit (Naseeruddin Shah), who was once a great cricketer and persuades him to be his coach. They are able to train in a nearby field, using Iqbal's buffaloes (named after actual members of the Indian cricket team) as fielders.Mohit trains Iqbal and gets him a place on the Andhra Pradesh Ranji Trophy team, despite Iqbal not having any previous cricketing experience. Iqbal plays marvelously for the team, which was a weak team before he joined, and is soon noticed by the press and cricket selectors alike. However, when the final match of the season pits Iqbal against his rival, Kamal, Guruji tries to bribe Iqbal to bowl badly so that the national team scouts at the game would select Kamal for the national cricket team.Iqbal succumbs to his offer, out of concern for his father, who is facing financial difficulties and may lose his lands. Luckily, a sports agent is able to offer him a better deal, and Iqbal bowls with his usual fiery pace and wins the match for his team. Surprisingly he also impresses the onlooking national team selector Kapil Dev (in a special guest role), and wins a place in the Indian national cricket team.In the end Iqbal is shown donning the Indian Cricket Team's Blue Jersey and walking in the ground to make his international debut.

            After his father abandoned him as a very young age, Mahadev Kuswah, a Graduate from Satna University, operates a fresh vegetable store in Sajjanpur. Sajjanpur was originally called Durjanpur, but after Jawaharlal Nehru's visit, it came to be by it's present name.Like any typical town in India, Sajjanpur, too, lacks basic infrastructure, there is no safe drinking water, the nearest railway station is Gorakhpur, local politicians are uneducated, mostly school dropouts, who have obtained fake college and university degrees, and are now Members of the Legislative Assembly and Members of Parliament.
Mahadev assists his town's residents with their written correspondence for a small fee. Some of his clients include Ram Singh, the ex-chair of the municipality, who now wants his wife, who is charged with homicide, to contest the elections, but first he must discredit her competitor, Rehmat-Ur-Nisha, by associating her and her spouse, Salim Mohammad, with terrorism, and of being members of Pakistan's ISI; Ramkumar, a Compounder, who is in love with Shobha, a widow, who lives with her father-in-law, Subedar Singh; a frantic Ramsakhi Pannawali, who desperately wants to wed her Manglik and rebellious daughter, Vindhya, to a Saturday-born dog; Munnibai Mukhrani, a eunuch, who enlists his help in contacting the Collector for police protection after being threatened and assaulted by Ram Singh for daring to compete in the Municipal elections; a snake-charmer, who uses fake snakes instead of real ones, and is anxious to locate his missing father; while Mahadev uses his skill to break-up Kamla's marriage with her Mumbai-based husband, Bansiram, so that he can have her for himself.

            The story starts with Anna Matthew (Tabu) explaining that she can see ghosts and spiritual spirits due to a special power given to her by the Gods and believes she has been chosen to help ghosts and fulfill their last wishes so that their spirits can achieve salvation. The story continues with Anna narrating one such incident of her life.The story revolves around Gopal (Ajay Devgn), Madhav (Arshad Warsi), Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), Laxman 1 (Shreyas Talpade) and Laxman 2 (Kunal Khemu, who are orphans living in an orphanage located in the picturesque Ooty, managed by the kind businessman Jamnadas (Uday Tikekar).One night, Gopal, Madhav, Lucky and the two Laxmans find a baby girl at the gate of the orphanage. They name her Khushi and take care of her. The five boys also know Anna Matthew, who works in a library nearby. The boys are aware of Anna's power to see spirits from the other world. One day, Madhav pranks and scares the easily frightened Gopal in an empty bungalow, which leads to a fight between the two then young boys. Gopal gets punished and the five boys decide to leave the orphanage. Khushi is extremely upset with this as she is left behind. Khushi later gets adopted by a loving colonel and his wife.Years later, Gopal and Laxman 1 are estranged from Madhav, Laxman 2 and Lucky. The five, however, are once again reunited when the news of Jamnadas's death comes and they are invited to an event to be held to honour him. They return to the orphanage after 25 years, finding that nothing much has changed. The five enter the old bungalow where Madhav had scared Gopal. There, they meet the colonel; they are also reunited with Anna Matthew (Tabu), and Pappi (Johnny Lever), another orphan from the orphanage. They also meet with Damini (Parineeti Chopra) whom Anna introduces as the bunglow's caretaker. Anna reacts strangely when she sees the boys acknowledging Damini's presence.At the special event for Jamnadas, businessman Vasu Reddy (Prakash Raj) reveals that the orphanage's kids will be shifted somewhere else, while the orphanage in Ooty will be demolished. Soon, one by one, the boys get possessed by a ghost that talks in Nana Patekar's voice. This scares Gopal, so Anna suggests they stay in Colonel's house.Madhav, Laxman 2 and Lucky are also staying in the Colonel's house, as they are handed over the job of getting Gopal and Laxman1 out of the house by Vasooli (Mukesh Tiwari) and Vasu Reddy. The five of them fight daily, exasperating Anna. The boys finally make amends after Lucky gets possessed. They push Gopal to express his love to Damini, as they are aware that he has fallen for her. Just then, Pappi reveals that Damini is alive and in fact his girlfriend. With horror, the boys discover that the girl they know as Damini is a ghost. Frightened, they try to flee but Anna stops them and reveals that the ghost is of none other than their own Khushi, their childhood friend.Khushi then tells her tale that how she had met a young businessman, Nikhil (Neil Nitin Mukesh), and fell in love with him. Their marriage was fixed. One night however, she witnessed Nikhil killing Jamnadas as Jamnadas confronted Nikhil about the latter's conspiracy of obtaining the orphanage in his name on the pretext of benefitting the orphans, and instead, demolishing the orphanage and building a contruction site for his personal gain. Khushi then confronted Nikhil and threatens to go to the police and calls him a murderer. Nikhil then strangled Khushi to death. With Vasu Reddy's help, Nikhil proved Jamnadas' death and Khushi's death as accidents. Khushi came to Anna as a spirit, asking for help. Anna was surprised that the boys could see Khushi and took it as God's sign, which is why she brought the boys to the house to help her.The boys plan to scare Vasu into confessing the truth but their plan is ruined when Nikhil returns and mocks that they don't have any evidence to prosecute him for the legend crime. This infuriates Khushi, who brutally attacks Nikhil and almost kills him. Anna calms her down and Vasu Reddy convinces Nikhil to confess. In the end, the orphanage is saved and Khushi's spirit, now content, departs happily to heaven after bidding goodbye to the boys.During the credits, the five dance with Khushi on a song.

            Director Nagesh Kukoonor and Shreyas Talpade team up for the third time in a row, after Iqbal and Dor with a breezing comedy "Bombay to Bangkok". The film has Shreyas playing Shankar, a Mumbai cook. In desperate need of money, Shankar steals from the local Don named Khan (Naseerudin Shah). Giving the Dons croonies a slip, he escapes his way into a team of Doctors heading for relief work to Bangkok but loses the all important money bag into the chaos. In Bangkok his world turns upside down at a bar where he bumps into lovely Jasmine (Lena) who is a volunteer and a part time massage. The hitch is she is all Thai and he cant converse with her at all. A ray of home comes his way the next day when Jasmine turns up desperately in need of a Doctor.Shankar posing as an Doctor alongwith the goofy Sardar buddy Rachinder, jumps into this whirlpool while Jasmine soon gets pulled into his bumbling adventures while running away from the Don and his henchmen. Hot on their trail are the Dons rapper son Jamal Khan (Vijay Maurya) and his henchmen who have landed in Bangkok to retrieve their money. Hop into the hilarious comedy of errors with Shankar as he discovers love and life in a rollicking ride from Bombay to Bangkok

            Avi is an ace photographer having a live in relationship with Sonia who is a model. One night the couple after returning from a late night party accidentally bumps of a young girl by their speeding car. As Sonia is driving the car, to avoid further complications, Avi insists on them fleeing away from the accident scene. But trouble starts for the couple soon after. While Avis clicked photos start having strange white marks over them, Sonia starts having spooky experiences. Avi also develops a severe shoulder pain and even though he is not overweight he starts weighing 120 kilos (264 lbs.). Avi too then starts having similar experiences like Sonia. The couple is petrified when all three of Avis best buddies kill themselves in a similar manner. It then comes to light that the spirit haunting them all has a connection to Avis college life. Meanwhile Sonia finds out that Avi was friends with one Aarti during his college days.
