            The story revolves around Kaushik (Prasenjit Chatterjee) and Kaberi (Konkona Sen Sharma), a happy couple until a car accident takes away Mita, Kaushiks mistress and leaves Kaushik heavily injured. Mita, a mother of a little boy and living with her husband, was Kaushiks colleague. The revelation leaves Kaberi shattered and she retorts. Kaushik successfully moves on with life leaving Mita behind and tries his best to repair the severely wounded relation with his wife. There is another couple in the film- Brinda (Pallavi Chatterjee) and Bobby (Parambrata Chatterjee), engaged in another extramarital relation. While Bobby is a bachelor, Brinda, quite older than Bobby, is unhappily married. They and Kaberi do group theatre together. Brinda-Bobby comes to a crossroad when Brinda becomes pregnant and Bobby is not sure whether the child is his or Brindas husbands. However he does not turn back and stands by Brinda in sorting out her issues.Kaberi often threatens divorce but ultimately is overpowered by the wife in her and cannot desist fulfilling her duties towards her husband at the time of crisis.On the other hand, Kaushik too is caught in his own predicament. The physical and mental trauma caused by the accident are portrayed with great skill and subtlety by Prosenjit. He has to not only come to terms with the loss of a loved one but is faced with the daunting task of winning back his wife's trust.

            Synopsis of Sesh Anka (2015 Bengali Movie)Raina Roy Choudhury (Parno Mittra), the only daughter of business tycoon Ritobrata Roy Chudhary (Shankar Chakraborty), gets framed in the murder case of Venkat Krishnaswamy, her first client as an escort, when she goes to spend a night with him in the East Palace Hotel of Mondarmoni.Raina, a neglected child, who has a sour relationship with her father, has been forced to get into escort service to meet the soaring expense of her drug addiction. Ritobrata Roy Choudhury, whose wife had committed suicide when Raina was very young,and who has an illicit relationship with his employee Minakshi, Bhattacharya (Debolina Dutta) publicly disowns Raina after she is arrested by the police from Mondarmoni.Amrita Banerjee (June Maliah), an ex-laywer, is the wife of Alokesh Banerjee (Arindam Sil), who in turn is a childhood friend of Ritobrata, and CEO of a private news channel. Amrita and Alokeshs late daughter, Payel, (Rini Ghosh) was best friend to Raina and after Payels untimely death, Raina has become like a daughter to Amrita and Alokesh. Amrita, who is like a mother to Raina, is determined to help Raina in her hour of need and so goes seeking professional help from her old friend and famous criminal lawyer on a self-imposed exile, Pronoy Dasgupta (Deepankar De).Pronoy Dasgupta, in his late fifties, is a flamboyant and sharp witted personality. He is filthy rich and
lives a stylish yet secluded life in his palatial bungalow.. Pronoy first refuses to take up the apparently
open and shut case but later after meeting Raina in the police custody and doing some background
check, he agrees to fight as her defense lawyer. Pronoy seeks help from a private detective named John Breganza (Mir Afsar Ali), who gathers varied secret information about Raina, and the people in her periphery, namely Ritobrata, Minakshi, Rainas friends and Rajib Mitra (Shataf Figar), the arch business rival of Ritobrata and his opponent as the Presidential candidate of City Chamber of Commerce.ACP Prithwiraj Sen (Samadarshi Dutta), recently transferred from Delhi to Kolkata is an arrogant yet honest and workaholic police officer who treats his convicts as criminals. He is the investigating officer of Venkat Krishnaswamy murder case and believes that Raina is the culprit. Because of this he initially gets into a tussle with Pronoy Dasgupta but later when he realizes that Raina has been trapped he begins cooperating with the
defense lawyer to solve the mystery. During the trial, we come to know about Anthony De Costa, a mysterious Frenchman and an internationally wanted criminal, who used to work as a freelance crook and operate under various names and disguises in the subcontinent. He is the one who had suggested escort services as a financial option to Raina and had sent her toMondarmoni on the fateful night.Pronoy Dasgupta, an efficient and sharp witted lawyer, sieves through an array of suspects namely
Minakshi, Rajib Mitra, Anthony De Costa and others to arrive at a shocking climax where through a tight
gripping court room drama Pronoy Dasgupta unmasks the real murderer, who until the climax had
successfully stayed out of the boundaries of suspicion. Pronoy thus successfully bails out Raina and
brings to law the real culprit.

            The movie starts in a police station where a police is beating a boy named Akash (Ankush) for loving a girl named Priya (Kinni). Akash is released from the jail and the police officer (Supriyo Dutta) says that Priya herself complains to the police officer. Akash goes to Priya's house to know the truth. Akash learns that Priya's marriage had been fixed with another man and this is why her father complains in the police station. Priya says that she hopes he would get a better wife. Akash is left heartbroken. His parents notice that and request to Akash marry. Akash calmly agrees and marries Anjali (Mimi), the girl his parents choose for him. But Anjali wants divorce in their first night and Akash agrees. Akash and Anjali go to divorce office and the court gives them six months to set things right between them.Akash then learns that Anjali loves a man named Vikram. But her father (Bharat Kaul) forces her to marry with Akash. One day Akash saves Anjali from local boys, who was teasing her in a harsh manner. Akash and Anjali goes to a mall and Anjali sees Vikram there. Akash then scarifies his married life and try to trace Vikram through a fake lottery contest in his radio channel, to contact Vikram. Later Akash takes Anjali to Vikram and they become reunited. One day Vikram tells Anjali to attend the valentine's day party. Anjali finds Vikram drunk and Vikram says that he took 50 lakh rupees from her father for Anjali's marriage with Akash. Anjali left heartbroken. Later Akash saves Anjali from humiliation in that party. After returning home Anjali tried to commit suicide but Akash saves her in time. Also he encouraged her to peruse dream of completing her MS degree from US and declare her as his Best Friend.After all incidents, gradually Anjali starts to fall in love with Akash. But she did not able to gather courage to express her love to Akash. When Akash's parents come to meet them, they have to act in front of their parents to make them happy. Then also Anjali starts to love Akash's parents as she lost her mother since childhood and also had bitter relationship with her father. One day, his mother gets the divorce paper. Akash then tells the whole matter to his mother. After Akash's parents left, he thanked Anjali to act perfectly, but Anjali tried to say Akash that she did not act and all her activities with his parents was real as she started to love Akash and his family. Later Akash also called Anjali's father to their house and after understanding her faults, she confessed to her father and felt guilty of all wrong doings she had done with Akash.When the six months given by the court is over they go to the court and they signed to the divorce paper. Anjali left heartbroken and she goes to airport with her father, asking Akash not to go with her to Airport. Divorce judge tells Akash that him and Anjali do not seem as other divorced couples, who don't even ready to see other again. After returning home Akash felt lonely and understands that he also loved Anjali. He rushed to the airport where Vikram and his henchmen come to beat Akash, but Akash fights with them. Then local Don (Shantilal Mukherjee) comes to his rescue and hence paid back his dues, as once Akash helped his sister's marriage. Akash goes to airport and find Anjali there. Anjali tells him that she can't leave him and Akash also express his love. They become reunited. Akash gave a good news to Anjali, that he actually got a better wife than Priya. On the other hand he has to eat Bread-Jam made by Anjali for whole life.
