The TV show was canceled after Rita's first episode but it would still represent a turning point in her budding career. Just one year later, Rita made her live, musical debut as a street performer on the world-famous Fremont Street in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the tender age of seven.Although Rita only performed on weekends, she quickly became one of the top street performers in Las Vegas. Rita's young age, along with her dynamic voice, advanced musical talents and unbashful showmanship, consistently drew large crowds. It didn't take long for Hollywood talent agents and managers to start calling. One manager, Lori Knight of Knight Light Entertainment, quickly won Rita's heart, as well as the trust of her parents.After taking a three-year hiatus from acting to develop her musical talents, Rita decided to pursue both acting and music so she and her family relocated to Los Angeles, California.
