Pauline O'Driscoll is best known for playing Mary, the big-hearted, resilient, matriarch opposite Pat Shortt in the IFTA nominated TV3 drama series SMALLTOWN; the harried hospital consultant trying to talk some sense into THE YOUNG OFFENDERS; Maureen opposite Rosaleen Lenihan & Moe Dunford in Emma Wall's poignantly beautiful period short film PAT. She plays Joan, the distraught mum of a missing teenager in SC Incorporated's feature film BUSMAN'S HOLIDAY starring Jamie McShane and the driven but troubled Detective Inspector Liz Delahunt in Knightvision Prods/Avalon Films soon to be released gritty gangland crime drama DREDGES.Other recent screen roles include: the chatty gushingly proud mum of the inventor of sliced bread in the comedy short SLICES, a protective, determined abuse survivor in SELLING SILENCE, a manipulative, commanding, aristocratic matriarch in period drama STACCATO and a feisty, witty, loving mum in BLACKOUT. She also has Double Honours Gold Medals and an ALAM Diploma from LAMDA, London. She is one of the original exponents of Tom Kibbe's Modern Realism acting technique and continues to train with him on an ongoing basis.Pauline has also had an extensive theatrical career.
