Louis C.K. writes, directs and stars in this show about a stand-up comedian, mostly performing late night shows at small clubs and restaurants. He is a single father living with his two school-going daughters. Episodes focus on events in his everyday life, and are bookended by clips from his stand-up routine. C.K. is the only regular in the show, and even his daughters are portrayed by more than one actor. The style of humor is often sexual and racist, with occasional use of vulgar language. C.K. exercises total freedom in the episodes he creates and there are few boundaries established throughout the show, with episodes dealing with such diverse topics as picking up the kids from school to doing drugs at his next-door neighbor's. Most of his stand-up routines mirror his real life and often have little or no association with the topic of the episode.

I started seeing this show from the start when it was already in its 4th season............and now i am cursing myself for being this late to a party that is turning out to be simply awesome.Californication is the story of a down-in-the-dumps writer, moved out of his favorite city (NY) to LA, by the love for his wife (to whom he was actually never married) and his daughter. And what follows next is a laugh riot, sex, nudy shows and much more, that is sure to keep on entertaining viewers of all age and sex.

"Milo Murphy's Law" is an animated comedy adventure series that follows 13-year-old Milo Murphy, the fictional great-great-great-great grandson of the Murphy's Law namesake. Milo is the personification of Murphy's Law, where anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.Created and executive produced by Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh of Disney's "Phineas and Ferb," the series stars Al Yankovic (professionally known as "Weird Al") in the title role of Milo Murphy, with Sabrina Carpenter (Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World") and MeKai Curtis (Disney XD's "Kirby Buckets") starring as Milo's best friends Melissa Chase and Zack Underwood, respectively. Yankovic, a four-time Grammy Award-winner, also performs the series' theme song, as well as other songs throughout the series.Suffering from Extreme Hereditary Murphy's Law condition (EHML), a trait that has affected the men in the Murphy family for generations, Milo is always expecting the unexpected. No matter what goes wrong - and it constantly does - Milo is prepared for every possibility, armed with knowledge, a backpack of supplies, and an endless sense of optimism and enthusiasm that can turn any catastrophe into an adventure. His positive outlook opens up never-ending opportunities for new and exciting life experiences. And while most people in town like Milo, they know it's best to keep at least a 10-foot distance to avoid his cyclone of calamity. In each 22-minute episode, Milo, along with his best friends Zack and Melissa, find ways to think outside of the box while enjoying life's obstacles.Recurring cast members include: Christian Slater ("Mr. Robot") as Elliot Decker, the school crossing guard and self-proclaimed "Safety Czar" of Jefferson G. County, who has made it his mission to protect the world from Milo; Vanessa Williams ("Desperate Housewives") as Zack's mom Eileen Underwood; Ming-Na Wen (ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.") as high-level time travel agent Savannah; Sarah Chalke ("Scrubs") as science teacher Miss Murawski; Jemaine Clement ("Flight of the Conchords") as Dr. Zone, a popular television show character who travels through time with his trusty sidekick Time Ape; Chrissie Fit (Disney Channel's "Teen Beach Movie") as Amanda Lopez, an overachieving perfectionist in Milo's class; Vincent Martella (Disney's "Phineas and Ferb") as Bradley Nicholson, Milo's envious and pessimistic classmate; Diedrich Bader ("The Drew Carey Show") as Milo's dad Martin Murphy; Pamela Adlon ("Californication") as Milo's mom Brigette Murphy; Kate Micucci ("Don't Think Twice") as Milo's sister Sara Murphy; Mackenzie Phillips ("One Day at a Time") as Principal Elizabeth Milder; Dee Bradley Baker (Disney's "Phineas and Ferb") as Milo's dog Diogee; Brett Dalton (ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.") as high-level time travel agent Brick; Gregory Michael Cipes ("Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man") as classmate Mort Schaeffer; Sophie Winkleman ("Two and a Half Men") as Dr. Zone's sidekick Time Ape; Michael Culross (Disney's "Phineas and Ferb") as high school teacher Kyle Drako; and Kevin Michael Richardson (Disney's "The 7D") as Coach Nolan Mitchell.Povenmire and Marsh also voice pistachio protectors from the future Vinnie Dakota and Balthazar Cavendish, respectively. While watching a high school girls softball game, yearbook editor Anne falls for the team star Sasha. She confesses her realization to her best friend Clifton, who reacts badly due to his own feelings for Anne. He kisses Anne, and, after she initially pushes him away, he rapes her, not stopping as she cries through the encounter. She eventually pushes him away and tearfully expresses that her current crush is not a boy, as Clifton had assumed, but a girl. Clifton calls her a dyke and accuses her of leading him on.Under the guise of yearbook interviews, Anne visits Sasha and the two begin to strike up a friendship. Their relationship grows over the upcoming weeks through their texting, culminating in Anne comforting Sasha after the latter causes her team to lose their big game.Clifton continues to lash out at Anne in jealousy. When Anne discovers he broke her bike lock and caused it to be stolen, she physically attacks him during their yearbook class, causing her to receive disciplinary action from the school (just as he planned to provoke her into attacking him in front of witnesses in order to get her into trouble). Clifton remains engaged in his plan to sabotage Anne, ultimately asking out Sasha himself. However, he begins to regret his actions during a meeting with his guidance counselor, in which he slowly comes to realize that he raped Anne. After being reprimanded by the school for fighting, and arguing with her mother, Anne goes on a hangout with Sasha and convinces her to let her sleep over at Sasha's house. That same night, the two sneak out to a bar and flirt with some men, but end up dancing with each other and kissing. Sasha is confused following their encounter, but lets Anne return home and the two share her bed.The following day, Sasha refuses to speak to Anne and attempts dating Clifton, but he's accepted Anne dating her and mistakes Sasha's offer to be for him to be a beard. Anne tries unsuccessfully to resume her relationship with Sasha, even admitting her crush in public, but Sasha continues to remain distant.Growing hurt, Anne secretly includes a picture in the school yearbook of her and Sasha kissing. The swapped photo is printed in every yearbook, and the families of Clifton, Anne, and Sasha are called by the school to convene. There, Sasha asserts that the encounter in the photograph was non-consensual and depicted Anne taking advantage of her while she was drunk. Clifton, grappling with his own breach of Anne's consent, takes the blame for placing the photo in the yearbook and expresses how much of the student body knew the two were dating. Sasha ultimately concedes that she "doesn't know" if she hadn't or had consented. Anne and her mother then leave the meeting.Later that day, Anne visits Jasmine, the owner of the bar and retail store where she and Sasha hung out, now to test herself for HIV. The two share a period of reflection over her history, in which Anne comments on another coercive sexual experience. Anne discuss her heartache over Sasha and accepts that she is gay. As she leaves, she buys herself a new bike.
