            In Hyderabad, a CBI team raids a local politician's house and eventually seizes all illegal items. The politician is arrested, but is later enraged to realize the raid was a hoax and conducted by a criminal in the name of CBI. He orders his men to hunt him down. The criminal is none other than Aadhi Shanmugham AKA Aadhi, a Thailand-based gangster who specializes in drugs and arms dealing. However, his mother and sister live separately from him due to his criminal activities. They had come to Bangkok following the death of Aadhi's father, where Aadhi became embroiled in criminal activities and was eventually shunned by his mother. Aadhi constantly tries to mend their relationship, but in vain. In the meanwhile, he comes across a waitress named Karishma and becomes attracted towards her. When he sees her getting kidnapped by a bunch of men, he attacks their car and fights them off all alone. He rescues Karishma and pays the goons targeting her, in exchange for her freedom. They eventually get closer as Karishma helps Aadhi deal with his personal issues.During a drug deal, Aadhi's rival gets him and everyone else present attacked. A shootout ensues, leaving Aadhi wounded by rescued by Karishma on time. She treats him and they plan to fly to Mumbai. At the airport, Karishma is revealed to be a part of the criminal gang trying to kill Aadhi. It is then revealed that there is a don called Bhagavan in Mumbai, who is a lookalike of Aadhi, albeit with feminine characteristics. Upon arriving in Mumbai, Karishma gives Aadhi a drink that makes him unconscious. He is taken to a prison, has his beard and mustache shaved and jailed. ACP Ranadev Patel is a corrupt police officer working with Bhagavan, who announces Bhagavan's capture in the media. While in prison, Aadhi realizes he's being mistaken for someone else as an enraged politician tries to kill him as a revenge for his own brother's death. Aadhi's inmate reveals about Karishma, whose real name is Rani, and Bhagavan, the don who terrifies Mumbai. Bhagavan, when told by the politician to deal with a Tamil Nadu MP, fought off goons and found he was in a hotel. Bhagavan killed the MP, due to which he was invited to a party by the politician where he discovered the politician's brother Sushil was attracted to Rani. One day, a drunk Sushil tried to get closer to Rani by force but was stopped by Bhagavan's men. When the politician tried to bribe Bhagavan, he burnt all the currency and killed Sushil.Bhagavan then went into hiding as the politician began searching for him. Soon, as Rani, Bhagavan, his henchmen and Ranadev found out about Aadhi, they plotted to trap him and eventually get him substituted as Bhagavan. Rani himself explains how she trapped Aadhi, in a final meeting with him. Ranadev gets paid by the politician's henchmen in exchange for dealing with Aadhi. The goons torture and try to kill Aadhi but he manages to escape following a brutal fight. Following his escape, Aadhi meets a man who arranges Malaysian passport for him but also tells him to stay from Rani and Bhagavan who are still in Mumbai. Bhagavan kills Ranadev believing he allowed Aadhi in exchange for money. Rani wants to leave Mumbai ASAP, but Bhagavan convinces her to stay with him so that he can kill Aadhi with own hands. Aadhi and his partner receive information about Rani's arrival at a spot, and they arrive to kill her. A shootout ensues, followed by a chase and a fight that leaves Rani dead as Bhagavan arrives and is shattered to see her corpse. Aadhi and Bhagavan engage in a fight that ends with Bhagavan getting fatally stabbed and nearly dead. As Aadhi walks away, Bhagavan drags himself to Rani's corpse and lies down. After Aadhi is gone, the camera zooms to the spot where Rani is lying dead and Bhagavan has already moved away from there.
