Mike Endes was born and raised in Long Island, New York. At the age of 17, he moved to Rhode Island, where he played Ice Hockey for The University of Rhode Island. He graduated from URI with a degree in Theater and Communications. After college, Mike moved back to the Big Apple, and decided to continue his training in theater for the next few years. Along the way he worked on a few plays in New York, and did lighting on what was to be his first film, which he got written into after the director saw him rehearse with one of the actors. 5 months later, he hopped in his car and drove 3,000 miles to the west coast, enrolling at The Stella Adler Academy of Acting, for its 2 year Conservatory Program. Upon completion, while playing Ice Hockey one day, Mike met Nikolai Guzov, who introduced him to the Michael Chekhov Technique of Acting, and had a huge impact on him as an actor.
