Mickey Hardt was born in Switzerland and raised in Luxembourg by his Luxembourgish father, who was a professional soccer player and his Austrian mother who was a singer and theatre actor before becoming a psychologist.At the age of eight, he began training martial arts, which became one of his lifetime passions such as playing guitar and piano. Later, studying at the university in Brussels, he started working part-time as a model and discovered a great interest in working in front of the camera.
