Actress and writer Lexi Webster was born and raised in Minnesota. She is the daughter of Sandi Yeado, a financial advisor, and Scott Yeado, a vice president of sales. She has one older brother. Her ancestry includes Swedish, Norwegian, French Canadian, German, and Scottish. She grew up as a competitive dancer, then started playing tennis during her middle school and high school years. After high school, she moved to Texas to attend Dallas Baptist University and compete on their Division 2 tennis team. In 2011, she earned a spot as a Top 20 contestant on Laurieann Gibson's "Born to Dance" reality dance television show on BET. After competing on the show, Lexi danced in a breakout video for singer, Jordy Towers, which was directed by Laurieann Gibson in Los Angeles. Jordy's "Money, Money" video featured a small handful of other contestants who competed on Gibson's show as well as Gibson's go-to top talent. Webster earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Dallas Baptist University.
