Lauren Scott-Berry was born in 1990 and lived in the village of Robin Hoods Bay, North Yorkshire, UK. Her parents Helen and Edward Berry were both artists who also birthed her older brother, Luke. Lauren attended a failing comprehensive school with very few acting and drama opportunities yet decided to pursue further education in acting. Lauren moved to London in 2009 to attend the foundation course at East 15 Acting School where she began her theatrical training. After leaving East 15 in 2010 Lauren was cast as Glenna in David Mamet's 'Bobby Gould in Hell' with the Woodhouse Players, an amateur dramatics group in Leytonstone. This was the first time that Lauren was ever given a role that she played from start to finish without sharing the role with another actress. Lauren played several lead roles with the Woodhouse Players and in 2012 she was cast as Sam in 'Okora: The Prelude' her first screen role but decided to continue her training at Drama Studio London. During her training Lauren grew in confidence and by the end of the course she was nominated by the school to audition in front of several theatre companies in a scheme designed to help give opportunities to actors fresh out of training. She was cast by Forest Forge as Gretel in their Christmas musical performance of 'Hansel and Gretel'. Following on from this success Lauren was cast in several short films and music videos including Nathan Sykes' 2016 hit 'Kiss Me Quick' and her first television appearance as Traudl Junge in 'Hitler: The Rise and Fall'. Continuing her theatrical journey Lauren toured the UK with Quantum Theatres 'A Midsummer Nights Dream' where she multi-roled as Hermia and Puck, she also toured Spain with a musical adaptation of 'The Taming Of The Shrew' where she played Katherine. In 2016 Lauren played Maureen in the OFFIE nominated 'Time Of My Life' by Alan Ayckbourn. In 2017 Lauren was cast as Mouse, the lead role in the musical stage adaptation of 'The Gruffalo' which toured around the world including four months across the USA. After returning to London Lauren played opposite Steve Huison in the short film 'Fly' and soon after that was cast in the documentary 'White Knuckle'.
