Kathleen Lawlor has performed in more than 25 independent films. Most recently, she has played Christine Cameron in the thriller Prepper's Grove (2018), a TV reporter investigating a missing teenager whose case has become cold. The film stars Margaret O'Brien (Meet Me in St. Louis), Johnny Whitaker ("Jodi" of the hit TV show Family Affair), and Tom Sizemore (Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down). In addition, Kathleen played Janice, a heroine trying to save a newborn child, both of whom attempt to survive an apocalyptic virus that turns people into mindless cannibals, in the dramatic horror film The Defiled (2010). This film was a Fantasy Horror Award winner in Orvieto, Italy, a selection in the Chicago International Film Festival (CIFF) and in the famous Bram Stoker Film Festival, Whitby, England. In the drama Fall Away, which appeared at the New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF), she played Lucy, the Band Manager. In season one, Episode 10, of Easy Abby, the most-watched LGBT web series with more than 30 million views (2013), she played sexy Genevieve, the mother of the bride. Television credits include 2 episodes as a doctor in FOX's The Mob Doctor (2012) and as Jewelry Store Owner, Karen Sansone in NBC's Chicago P.D. (2015). Chicago stages she has appeared on include Judy's Beat Lounge at The Second City, Stage 773, The Den Theatre, and Chicago Cultural Center's Claudia Cassidy Theater. Kathleen is a writer, producer, singer, and visual artist with a B.F.A. in Fine Art from St. Ambrose University. She has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
