Kahlid Elijah Tapia is an American actor who built his film career in Seoul, South Korea. His reputation & experience as an expat thespian made him a budding success in an overseas film industry. As a young adult, he became most recognized for his portrayal of "Shoeless" Joe Hardy in the musical "Damn Yankees" in which he received the Best Actor Award. He attended school at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke majoring in public relations and continued acting with roles in The Robber Bridegroom and HMS Pinafore.In 2009, he moved to Korea to teach English and was noticed and cast by a young director in his first short film Bedwetting.
