Joy Kigin is an American actress, best known as the role of Ms. Hough on Nickelodeon's I Am Frankie. She was born to Hal and Joyce Marston in Winter Park, Florida, and has two brothers. As a child, Joy participated in competitive figure skating then transitioned into competitive cheerleading as a teen, all while active in her school's theatre program and thespian troupe.In college, she stepped away from acting but returned for a production of Frank Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life" at the Orlando Fringe Festival. It was there she met a friend who later introduced her to film acting in This Man's Life opposite Michael Rooker and Bill Cobbs. Previously a bit of a self-proclaimed theatre snob, that incredible experience set Joy on the path to pursue acting on screen.
