Joseph received a scholarship to acting school at the ripe age of ten, and he continued on to perform in the theatre as well as in films. Joseph's education was sponsored by the three prolific aerospace and research firms (McDonald Douglas, Howard Hughes and TRW) from grade school to his freshman year in high school until he was advised by his high school teacher that he might be a good fit for The Los Angeles County High School Of the Arts (LACHSA).He received coaching from his mentor Chip Fields and auditioned for LACHSA and was accepted. After Graduating from LACHSA's rigorous theatre department, Joseph shifted gears again to support his love for animals, by continuing his education to consult for and staff veterinary hospitals.
