Jennifer-Lynn Christie ( also known as Jennie Lane ) was born on the 18th of August 1992 to divorced parents Ginette Lavigne and Stuart Christie. She is the youngest of three children.Acting has always been a part of her personality. Growing up, her dad carried a camera on his shoulder at all times, making her feel at home on set.When she was 6 years old, she told her parents that she would one day become an actress. Her parents weren't very enthusiastic about the idea at first. In high school she participated in some school plays as the lead roles. At fourteen, she wanted to enroll in an acting school. Her parents, discouraged by the industry refused the idea of her enrolling in drama for college.Jennifer worked for the equivalent of 6 years in video stores during her college years as she is a huge movie geek. She studied arts and literature at the Cegep Edouard Montpetit, in Longueuil, Québec, where she had a drama class. Afterwards, she pursued some of her studies in photography at Cegep Du Vieux-Montréal, Montréal, Québec. She also briefly studied criminology.Some of her goals include:Creating an interesting, fun and motivating school for artistic kids who can't afford it. Working on better food programs for schools for kids who live in poverty. Since she was once homeless for almost a year, she would love to help create programs for homeless people and help with shelter and food.
