
            The story opens in May of 1976 on the last day of school at Lee High School somewhere in Texas. The junior class is looking forward to the summer season and also eager to become senior students in the Fall. Though the story doesn't have a central plot, it follows one day in the lives of several students and the trials and tribulation they go through making the transition from one grade to the next.Randall "Pink" Floyd is a quarterback for the school football team. Randall is a sort of bridge between the cool kids like his teammates and their girlfriends and the more average students whom he also hangs out with. Arriving for the last day he meets with his friend Don who reminds him they have to take a brief trip over to the junior high school to torment the 8th graders who will move up to their freshman year. A longstanding tradition has the newly-minted seniors chasing and torturing the new freshmen boys with paddles they've made themselves in wood shop. Don also hands Pink a slip of paper from their coach that every player is now required to sign: the document declares that no team player will do any drugs or drink alcohol. Though his teammates have signed with the intention of ignoring the new pledge anyway, Pink refuses, believing it to be another oppressive form of control. Pink is also harassed by his coach because he hangs out with friends who belong to the school's stoner crowd.Pink, Don, Benny and Melvin all pile into Benny's pickup and drive to the junior high. Also joining them is O'Bannion, a senior who flunked out and is returning. Benny announces to the students in the junior high over his CB radio that they'll be gunning for all the new freshmen. If the kids voluntarily give themselves up right after school, they'll only be paddled a single time. If they run, then it's open season all summer. Right before they left, Jodi, older sister to Mitch, had asked the guys to go easy on Mitch, which Benny immediately dismisses. Mitch is directly named by Benny and his friends tell him to take off in a different direction to take the heat off themselves.As school finishes up, Mitch asks his teacher, on behalf of his friends Carl, Tommy and Hirschfelder, if he'll let them go early to avoid the seniors gunning for them. Their teacher gives them a speech telling them to man up because he had to while a soldier in Vietnam. When the boys try to sneak out, they bolt for the car that Hirschfelder has procured for them from his brother and race off with Benny and O'Bannion in hot pursuit. Carl and Mitch are dropped off at Carl's parents' house. O'Bannion grabs them both and is about to paddle them when Carl's mother bursts out the front door pointing a shotgun. O'Bannion retreats, yelling he'll get them later.The freshmen girls also receive their own vicious hazing from the senior women. They're forced to put infant pacifiers in their mouths, conduct air raid drills (they have to fall on the ground quickly or be forced to repeat the action), are covered in ketchup, mustard and flour and ask the senior men present humiliating questions. They're later taken in the back of a pickup to a local car wash and go through the cleaning cycle. After they're dropped off at home, one of their number, Sabrina, is asked by Jodi to come hang out with them that night. Sabrina agrees.At Kevin Pickford's house, his girlfriend Michelle, Pink and their friend Slater hang out and smoke weed. Pickford's parents suddenly inform him that a guy delivering kegs of beer is out in front of the house. Pickford had been planning a large keg party while his parents would be out of town on vacation. He's able to talk the delivery guy into leaving but his parents tell him their vacation is cancelled. The group will have to come up with a new plan to throw a party.That night Mitch has to pitch for his local little-league baseball team, with Benny, Melvin, O'Bannion and Pink watching and taunting him from the stands. Stalling on the mound doesn't work very well and Mitch throws his final strike to give his team the game. As he walks out the gate in right field, the guys are waiting for him. He's given a vicious beating while bent over the hood of a car. Pink happens by and makes like he'll get his licks in but he spares Mitch, even offering him a ride home. He relates his own story from three years ago when he got the same treatment. However, he invites Mitch to hang out with him that night, advising him that if he shows up it'll show the seniors that the beating really doesn't bother him that much. Pink also tells him to sit on some ice for a couple of hours to ease the pain.Pink arrives at Mitch's house later in a 1970 Chevy Chevelle driven by a friend, Wooderson, a former student at the school who dropped out and works for the city. They drive to their local hangout, a pool hall called The Emporium. Though most people at first seem a bit suspicious of Mitch, he's eventually accepted. He goes out on a run with Pink, Don and their friend Pickford. Cruising at high speed, they destroy a few mailboxes with stolen trash cans and encourage Mitch to throw a bowling ball through the back window of a parked car. The brazen act seems to up Mitch's points with the guys. When they return to the Emporium, Melvin gives Mitch some money to go out and buy him a six-pack. Mitch is able to bluff the clerk at the store and returns triumphantly with the beer. Wooderson spreads the word that there'll be a keg party at a place called the Moon Tower in a few hours.Meanwhile, Sabrina drives around with some the senior girls. They eventually bring her to the Emporium where Mitch catches up with her. She tells him that his friend Hirschfelder got caught by Don, Benny & O'Bannion and was mercilessly paddled. Mitch comes up with a plan: he gathers his friends and has them help him lure O'Bannion outside when the word is spread that Carl has been captured and awaits a paddling. O'Bannion stakes is claim and is ready to beat Carl mainly for the shotgun the boy's mother pulled on him when he's hit by paint thrown on him by Carl's friends. Humiliated, O'Bannion leaves the scene while his friends smirk, roaring out in his Duster.Some of Pink's other friends, Mike, Tony and Cynthia ride around in Cynthia's car, discussing what their futures might hold for them. Mike had wanted to be a lawyer and work for the ACLU but has second thoughts and nervously admits he'd like to be a dancer. Mike is nervous about going to Pickford's party but they all retreat when they get to the house and his father answers the door.At the Moon Tower, the party goes into full swing and everyone becomes pleasantly drunk. Benny confronts Pink about his refusal to sign the coach's loyalty agreement. Benny thinks Pink is only thinking of himself and doesn't care about the team. Pink explains that he'll play for the team but not under oppressive rules. One of the drunken senior women, Darla, tries to get Sabrina, who has been hanging out with Tony, to perform an air raid. Sabrina, having already gone through the afternoon's humiliation, is told by Tony she doesn't have to do anything Darla says. Mitch climbs the tower with some of the guys, who tell him that other freshmen have gotten drunk and fallen off the tower. Slater, an eternal stoner, pontificates on the possibility that George Washington may have grown massive fields of marijuana as a cash crop for the Southern states - in truth, Washington grew fields of hemp both for rope-making and the oil.Mike walks past a group of guys led by Clint, while he works on his Pontiac Firebird. Mike remarks that he can smell the weed their smoking and Clint takes offense. Mike is shaken by the threat and later, while he's semi-drunk, takes a cheap shot at Clint, knocking him down. Clint retaliates and pins Mike to the ground, hitting him a few times until Pink and Wooderson break it up. Mike runs off with Cynthia, who drives them to a remote spot and takes care of him. The two of them make out.Mitch leaves the party with a sophomore girl and ends up lying out on a blanket under the stars making out. When he arrives home at dawn, his mother catches him. She tells him he gets one "get out of jail free card" but will be in trouble the next time he comes home at dawn.Pink, Wooderson, Slater and Don join Simone and Shavonne at the 50 yard line of the school's football field to smoke a joint and wait out the rest of the night. While there, Don talks about how it's important to have a reputation and enjoy life before graduating. Wooderson come back from retrieving some rolling papers from Pink's car with the coach's document. Pink finalizes his refusal to sign it. Just then, a police car shines its spotlight on them and they're ordered to get off the field. Pinks coach shows up at dawn and admonishes Pink for not signing the document and for hanging out with the stoner crowd. Pink stands up to his coach and tells him he'll play for the team but won't sign the paper. The coach leaves in a huff. The gang go with Wooderson to Houston to buy tickets for the big Aerosmith concert that's coming up. They drive down the highway while "Slow Ride" by Foghat plays.

            Two years after losing their son Eddy (Greyson Moore), father Stanley (Jason London) cannot seem to live a normal life. His wife Lisa (Meredith Salenger) finally tells him it is okay to "move on" with their life. (Eddy was a budding baseball prodigy, in his young life, and his father coached his team.) Stanley has been sleeping in Eddy's room. When he finds that Lisa has taken some of Eddy's clothing for a fundraising sale he explodes and claims that she had no right to sell HIS son's memories to "the highest bidder".
At the garage sale, the grieving parents' neighbor, a foster-care mother, Miss Esther (L.Scott Caldwell) offers an old oil lamp. She says it has given her what she needed and now it is time to find a new owner. At the end of the day, the lamp has not been bought. Lisa tries to return it to Miss Esther, who tells her that "of course" it wasn't bought, because it needed to find "the right owner". Miss Esther then suggests (perhaps) it is her, and gently shuts the door, leaving Lisa holding the lamp.
The argument regarding Lisa taking Eddy's old clothes to the sale occurs after this. After the "highest bidder" comment, Stanley sneers at Lisa and the lamp and says "and you brought home THIS?" (I assume as a replacement, in his mind). He leaves, enraged.
The next thing memorable, is Stanley being gone, and Lisa in the house as a knock on the door sounds. Enter Charles Montgomery, Jr. III (Louis Gossett, Jr.)..Unwilling to open the door to a stranger, he slips his card under the door. It simply says BELIEVE in ornate script with his name underneath. Lisa then opens the door to him and as he is seated, things happen that amaze her, especially when he simply disappears as Stanley comes in.
A seemingly obscure Maintenance worker named Sam (Muse Watson) was...if you looked closely...watching Stanley at Eddy's funeral...he is a key character, though you wouldn't know, in the beginning.
When I first saw this, I did not realize (at first) that Josh (Cameron Ten Napel) and Rachel (Katie Burgess) were sisters. I had thought that Rachel was the child whom would be instrumental in helping Stanley to heal.
Enough Spoilers and Details...this movie is worth watching. For anyone whom has suffered a loss (my prayers), this is a movie of hope, redemption, salvation and renewal-of spirit. No more Details!

            An insane young woman named Barbara Lang (J. Smith-Cameron) paints her house red to protect her young telekinetic daughter Rachel from demons. A group of policemen and doctors arrive at the house where Barbara is institutionalized and Rachel is taken away.Years later, 18-year old Rachel Lang (Emily Bergl), living with foster parents, catches a bus to school and talks with her best (and only) friend Lisa (Mena Suvari), whom they view their matching red rose thorn tattoos on their left arms, and Lisa tells Rachel that the night before, she had lost her virginity to Eric (Zachary Ty Bryan), a football player. Lisa gives Rachel a roll of film for her to develop. The football players talk about Lisa; they have a game where they sleep with girls and receive points. The football team captain, Mark (Dylan Bruno), records their scores in a notebook.That same day after Eric rejects her, Lisa commits suicide, jumping from the school's roof. The event triggers Rachel's repressed telekinetic ability, causing the lockers in the school to fling open. School counselor Sue Snell (Amy Irving) talks with Rachel about Lisa. Sue reveals that she spent time at the institution holding Rachel's mother. The discussion upsets Rachel and one of Sue's coffee mugs crashes to the floor. Sue visits Rachel's mother whom still resides in the mental hospital, learning that Rachel and the late Carrie White shared the same father... Ralph White.Meanwhile, Eric talks with Mark, afraid he will be blamed for Lisa's suicide. He reveals they slept together and Mark assures him the information will stay private. Eric tells Mark that Lisa took a picture of them. Mark tells Eric that he will deal with it.While working at her after-school job at a small photo shop, Rachel discovers she has developed photos of Lisa and Eric just before Mark and Jesse (Jason London), another football teammate, arrive. Mark tries bribing Rachel for the photographs, then offers to take her out; she rejects him. The next day, Rachel tells Sue and Sheriff Kelton (Clint Jordan) about Lisa and Eric sleeping together, giving Kelton the photographs. Kelton looks into charging Eric with statutory rape since Lisa was underage.That evening, Walter, Rachel's Basset Hound dog, is accidently struck by a car when he runs onto a street. Rachel cries for help from passing cars, then stands in the road, stopping a truck with her powers. Jesse is on his way home after having sex with his girlfriend Tracy Campbell (Charlotte Ayanna) when Rachel stops him. Jesse takes her and the dog to an animal clinic. Rachel's tense mood causes her telekinetic powers to manifest as a small tremor develops in the waiting room which makes Jesse both confused and concerned at what is going on. But Rachel quickly calms down and the tremor subsides when a veterinarian appears and tells her that Walter will be fine. Jesse takes Rachel out for coffee at a local diner where they have a nice talk.Learning that Rachel gave the photograph to Sheriff Kelton, Mark, Eric and other football players go to her house late at night, turning off the power and breaking a window. Mark harasses her on the phone. Eric starts entering the trailer through a window. Rachel's telekinesis closes the window on Eric's hand, injuring him. The boys leave when her foster parents arrive.A few days later at school, Sue meets with Rachel in her office. When Sue asks about moving objects with her mind, Rachel denies having telekinetic powers and begins leaving. Sue tries stopping her; Rachel screams at Sue to leave her alone and a snowglobe on Sue's desk shatters. Sue brings Rachel to the school that Carrie destroyed 20 years earlier and tells Rachel about Carrie White. Sue also tells her that she has telekinesis and there are places that study it. Sue tells Rachel that her father was Carrie's father whom may have had telekinetic powers, which Rachel continues to refuse to believe.Jesse pursues Rachel, angering Tracy. The night the football players attacked, Jesse and Rachel had a date. Jesse convinces Rachel he was unaware of the attack and Rachel agrees to go out with him. Jesse confronts Mark about the attack and the two fight.Mark and his girlfriend, Monica (Rachel Blanchard), plot to humiliate Rachel for what she did to Eric, although the statutory rape charges are dropped after Eric's wealthy and powerful father (Gordon Clapp) threatens the school board and the police force with a halt in monthly "charitable donations" (bribes). Mark apologizes to Jesse and offers his parents' cabin so Jesse can spend the night with Rachel. The two share a romantic evening and Rachel loses her virginity. While she sleeps, Jesse whispers that he loves her. Unknown to both of them, someone videotapes the entire thing.When Rachel arrives home at dawn, she is slapped and yelled at by her foster parents for being out all night in which she is grounded for a week.A few days later, Sue goes back to the mental hospital to meet Barbara again. She persuades Barbara about Rachel's ability and tries to persuade her to confront Rachel.Despite being grounded, a happy and confident Rachel sneaks out and goes to a school championship football game to watch Jesse play. (Note: all of the football players, Mark and Eric included, shave their heads, exempt for Jesse). After Jesse wins the game for the school, Mark and Monica tell Rachel that Jesse is talking to a college scout and she should go to a victory party at Mark's house with them. But Jesse is actually sidetracked by Tracy, who attempts to seduce him at his house in order to keep him away from Mark's party.That evening, Rachel is casually mingling with Jesse's friends at the party when the football players reveal their sex game and claim that Rachel was added to Jesse's list. Mark plays the videotape showing Jesse and Rachel having sex before everyone at the party, making Rachel believe Jesse never cared for her. In an extreme rage, Rachel's ability is triggered leading to a climatic bloodbath. She transforms into a black-eyed, demonic-like person in which her red rose tattoo literally "grows" the image of thorns all around her arms and legs and she uses her powers to closes the doors of the house and kills most of the partiers with shattering glass from windows as well as using her powers to project flying CD disks that impail several more party-goers. Rachel uses her powers to move objects around that knock over several liquor bottles and a fire begins as Rachel uses her powers to move the burning logs out of the fireplace and soon the whole house is on fire. Pandomonium breaks out as several people attempt to escape from the inferno but they are killed or burned to death. Just then, Sue has taken Rachel's mother from the hospital and drives to Mark's house. Sue reaches the door just as Rachel throws a fire poker at a boy's head, killing both the boy and Sue on the other side of the front door.In Mark's father's study, Eric, Mark and Monica arm themselves with harpoon guns and Mark takes a flare gun before confronting Rachel. The murderous Rachel follows the trio into the back yard beside the swimming pool and she uses her power to shatter Monica's eye glasses, blinding her. Monica accidentally shoots Eric in the gut with her spear gun before they both collapse to the ground and die from their injuries. Rachel disarms Mark with her powers just when she hears her mother calling for her. While she is distracted for a second, Mark shoots Rachel in the stomach with the flare gun. Rachel falls into the pool and she uses her powers to extend the pool cover. Rachel jumps out of the water and pulls Mark into the pool, and after it is covered, she uses his spear gun to free herself by cutting a small hole in the cover while he drowns. Rachel's mother believes she is possessed and runs from the house. Seriously wounded by her injury, Rachel prays for help.Jesse and Tracy arrive and find the house in flames and all their friends dead. When Rachel walks in and sees Tracy, she kills her by collapsing the ceiling above her. Jesse urges Rachel to leave for the house is on fire. The tape of them is still playing. When he sees it, Jesse tells her he did not know they were being taped. Rachel calls him a liar and uses her powers to hit him with Mark's notebook, which opens to the score page. Jesse says he loves her, but she does not believe him until she hears him say it on the tape, realizing he told the truth. When the burning ceiling collapses over Jesse's head, Rachel pushes him out of the way and she is pinned under a flaming board. As Jesse tries to lift the heavy plank off Rachel, she tells him she loves him and they share a kiss before his right arm lights on fire from the burning plank. Jesse tries kissing Rachel again, but she uses her powers to push him out of the house and into the covered swimming pool in the back yard, thus saving his life before allowing herself to succumb to injuries.One year later. Jesse is at King's University, sharing his room with Rachel's dog Walter, and he still has a severe burn scar on his right arm. He has a dream that Rachel enters his room, wearing the same clothes and looking as she did the night when they made love. They kiss before she shatters into ash. The shaken Jesse awakes and looks at himself in the mirror as well as a photo of Rachel that he keeps beside the mirror.

Then he meets Saki, a free-spirited Japanese woman who teaches him about Tokyo and relating to others in a more personal way. She tries to help him live in the present and communicate with words, not text on a screen. Can he learn to relate to her, or is a make believe life on the web too tempting?

            Now living in Bulgaria, retired LAPD officer Brett Anderson remains haunted by the traumatic death of his wife Ana. To help him heal with a change of scenery, Brett's friend Alex gets him a job as a security guard at an old apartment building in Sofia.Building manager Martin Baker and his associate Goran give Brett a tour of the building and explain Brett's monitoring duties. Martin gives Brett a phone number and instructs him to call it if her ever observes anything out of the ordinary, specifically in regards to an ominous door in the basement.Brett moves into an apartment in the building. Brett also meets local coffee shop barista Zara and the two of them take a mutual interest in one another.When Brett sees a shadowy blur on one of the security cameras, he calls the phone number. Blind man Jacob Keaton comes to the building to cryptically consult with Brett. Jacob explains that he once had Brett's job, but became a consultant after losing his eyesight. Jacob briefly listens at the door with strange carvings before leaving.Brett calls Zara to ask about the building's history. Zara reveals that eight-year-old twin sisters were supposedly murdered there by their father, who claimed their mother was actually responsible before hanging himself while in police custody. Brett later has a nightmare involving the twins.In the morning, Brett finds Martin copying the security files to take back to his company. Martin reiterates Jacob's insistence that they should not investigate the door directly.Brett brings Zara to the building. Brett explains how he retired from the force after killing a teenage gang member who murdered his partner. Zara spends the night with Brett, who continues experiencing haunting nightmares.Martin, Goran, and Jacob return to review the security tapes with Brett. After seeing footprints on the footage, Martin and Goran agree to investigate behind the door with Brett. Upon confirming the footprints, Martin and Goran hurriedly leave. Jacob warns Brett to never enter the hangar alone.Zara returns. Brett is confused when she asks him about having ignored her calls over the previous few days. While having sex, Brett sees Zara turn into a vision of his wife with her throat slit. Brett tells Zara that something is off about the building and his employers are hiding the truth from him.Jacob returns. Brett demands to know why the building is empty and why Martin and Goran became so frightened after investigating the hangar. Jacob takes Brett and Zara up to the penthouse where he shows them an invalid old man kept alive by medical equipment.Jacob introduces the man as Zachariye, the 150-year-old architect of the building who was also an alchemist that prolonged his life though unnatural means. Jacob explains that Zachariye is one of the guardians of seven gates to the afterlife, also known as 'the nightworld.' Zachariye was responsible for creating the seals that protect the gate upon which he constructed the building. Due to his impending death, the dead now threaten to open the door from the other side and overrun the land of the living. Jacob adds that only one man, Isaac Pritchard, knows the location of the other six gates. Jacob warns that Brett must help him prevent the dead from opening the gate.Alex shows up unexpectedly, claiming that he hasn't been able to contact Brett for five days. Brett realizes that the building somehow manipulated him into missing time.Jacob, Brett, Zara, and Alex investigate the hangar. Brett asks Jacob about the murdered twins. Jacob explains that their father brought them there because he believed the building could bring the dead back to life.Living dead phantoms in the shadows pull Alex and Jacob away. Zara is wounded in a similar attack, but breaks free. Meanwhile, Brett encounters a vision of his dead wife Ana.Brett and Zara escape together as the dead begin overrunning the hangar. Brett realizes that Ana made it through the door with them. Ana tries convincing Brett that he needs her to reopen the door in order to free her soul. Recognizing Ana as an evil spirit, Zara intervenes. The two women viciously fight until Brett musters the willpower to shoot Ana with a handgun.Brett and Zara escape into the elevator as the dead break into the basement. Once outside, Zara dies in Brett's arms. Brett looks back at the building and sees the real Zara pounding on a window. Zombie Zara resurrects and prepares to shoot Brett when a man in a black suit suddenly kills her.Flanked by more black-suited men, Isaac Pritchard introduces himself to Brett. Pritchard advises Brett that everything will be fine and his men will escort Brett somewhere safe. Pritchard sees Jacob in one of the building's windows. Brett sees Ana, Zara, and Alex, as well as the twins with their father.

            It's 1996 and fourth grader Cecil Stevens (Sark Asadourian) finds himself switching to a new school after his parents (Jason London, Jenna von Oy) decide to separate. Cecil becomes fast friends with Abby (Christa Beth Campbell), a rambunctious school newspaper reporter, but gets off to a rough start when she notices that, due to his horrible lisp, he can't pronounce his own name.Cecil and Abby try several methods to avoid Cecil's pending social travesty by hiding the lisp, including an English accent and being mute. But alas none of them will do and they realize they must take matters much further. Cecil must change his name for good. They decide to change it to something legendary, something cool, something without any "esses," something like... Michael Jordan!After school Cecil's grandmother, Peggy (Mary Alfred Thoma), takes Cecil and Abby to the local grocery store and convinces them that he can legally change his name there. Upon further investigation they find out that in order for the teachers to stop calling him Cecil, they must sneak into the principal's office and change the name within the database. Together they get the job done.Things are starting to look up for Cecil, or rather Michael Jordan, as he quickly becomes the most popular kid in the school. Cecil finally has friends, popularity, and most importantly, a name he can say with confidence. After seeing the positive effect of Cecil's name change, Abby, Cecil and their new friend, Martha (Sophie Harris), decide they must capitalize on the opportunity and sell new names to all the kids at the school. The kids go to work and their business booms. It's not long before the money is rolling in and their school is full of nineties' celebrities ranging from Tupac Shakur to Bill Clinton.At the peak of the trios popularity, everything comes crashing down when the Principal (Jay Walters) and his money hungry bookie (Aaron Munoz) find out about their business operation. They quickly black mail the kids into giving all the profits to the Principal.Cecil and Abby smell something fishy about the Principal's demands so they plan a top secret mission to investigate the Principal's house and to seek revenge. They sneak in through a ventilation system, "Mission Impossible" style, and discover that the Principal's been stealing the school's funds to support a taxidermy business. Before they leave, they lower a piece of the infamous school cafeteria "brownie surprise" into the sleeping the Principal's mouth. He poops his pants instantly. He pursues them but they narrowly escape as he stops to relieve himself.At the school's final basketball game the disgruntled Principal demands that Cecil not only stand in front of the entire school and state his real name but also come clean about selling fake names to all the students. Abby shows up in the nick of time with a new story fresh off the presses exposing all of the Principal's shady dealings. With the help of Cecil's teachers, parents and friends, the Principal is exposed and detained.Cecil regains his popularity but decides he doesn't need it when he has true friends like Abby.             A shark winds up on the deck of a riverboat in New Orleans, killing several people. Meanwhile, young college student Tara Mitchell has just returned to her hometown next to the Mississippi River in order to participate in an upcoming fish rodeo with her father, and local shop owner Ray. Actor Jason London, star of the popular "Shark Bite" film series, is appearing as a special guest at the rodeo. News reporter Allison Harding, and her cameraman Phil arrive to cover the event. The town's mayor Bill "Big Bill" Braddock is informed of the riverboat attack in the meantime, although is more concerned with the rodeo activities than the attack. Meanwhile, a woman named Mrs. Chapman is killed by a shark while painting next to the river.When the fish rodeo begins, Ray is forced to return to the store in order to collect a shipment, leaving Tara at the dock. Tara soon meets up with her old friends Wyatt, who is a big fan of Jason London, and the Shark Bite films, and Eric, whom she has had a secret crush on since high school. Ray, in the meantime, witnesses a fisherman being eaten by a shark, and calls Tara to warn her. Tara, and Eric set out to find Ray, only to come across Jason, and Big Bill looking at the severed head of Mrs. Chapman. Big Bill soon confesses to Tara that there are sharks in the river, and sends Jason to warn people of the sharks, although nobody believes him. Ray, meanwhile, gets the attention of the town sheriff, and he's attacked while inspecting the fisherman's body, although Ray manages to scare it off. Allison, and Phil then arrive, although Phil is quickly eaten while inspecting the body.Tara, and Eric reunite with Wyatt, who pulls a shark out of the water using a winch on the back of his truck. Jason arrives with a machete, which Tara uses to kill the shark. However, it soon becomes apparent that there's more than one shark in the river, and after they fail to shut down the competition, Tara, Eric, and Wyatt decide to enter it in order to kill the sharks, although they are required to enter their phone numbers onto an entry sheet in order to qualify. Big Bill's assistant retrieves them while Tara, Eric, and Wyatt go back to the marina, although he drops them into the river, and is eaten while trying to retrieve them. Tara, Eric, and Wyatt go to collect supplies from Ray's shop, and Wyatt asks Jason to help, although he refuses to do so, much to Wyatt's disappointment. As Tara, Eric, and Wyatt prepare to leave, Jason is eaten by a shark.Tara, Eric, and Wyatt arrive at Ray's shop, and collect weapons, and supplies. Meanwhile, the sheriff, Ray, and Allison begin heading towards the marina, although encounter a man being devoured by a shark on the road. They kill the shark before the fisherman walks away unharmed, although they're left stranded on the road, and begin walking to the marina as a result. The sheriff finds a fisherman stranded in the water with a shark surrounding him. The shark rams the boat, causing the fisherman to accidentally shoot an arrow, which kills the sheriff. Meanwhile, Tara, Eric, and Wyatt arrive back at the river with guns, and bombs, where Big Bill confronts them, and confiscates their bombs. They then devise a plan to capture the sharks by hanging a net over a bridge, lure the sharks into the net, and then lift them up using Wyatt's winch. In the meantime, Big Bill discovers fisherman Possum attempting to steal the prize trophy. When they fight over the trophy, one of the sharks jumps up eats their arms before they both fall into the water, and are devoured by the sharks.While setting up the trap, Tara, and Eric begin confessing their love for each other, only to be interrupted by Wyatt, who sends Tara to get a net. Eric asks Tara out on a date after they kill the sharks, to which she accepts. The group then finishes setting up the trap, and Ray, and Allison arrive at the marina shortly after. As Tara, Eric, Wyatt, and Ray begin the process of trapping the sharks, Allison records the event on her camera. The group then manages to trap the shark, and they begin raising the net. Wyatt then attempts to blow up the dangling net with a pipe bomb, although the bomb detonates too late, and falls into the water, where it explodes. The sharks then begin falling back into the water, pulling the truck in with it, although Wyatt manages to drive the truck forward, pulling the net up onto the bridge, where a truck runs over the sharks, finally killing them. Ray starts a relationship with Allison, and Tara, and Eric share a kiss. Wyatt finds the prize trophy under the bridge, although a decapitated shark head then falls on him.Three months later, Tara, and Eric have officially become a couple, and Wyatt is helping Ray running the store, although is wearing an eye patch due to the injury sustained from the shark head falling on him. As Tara, Eric, and Ray leave, Wyatt sees another shark movie starring Jason's twin Jeremy on TV before a girl who's lost in town comes into the store, and the two talking about their love of the Shark Bite films as the film ends.
