After Hours


            Rosie Dunne and Alex Stewart have been best friends since they were little kids. The movie opens on Rosie sitting alone looking dejected at a table, while wedding guests mingle around her. It then cuts to the past, and Rosie and Alex are at a bar. They are celebrating Rosie's 18th birthday, and share a drunken, passionate kiss before Rosie falls off a stool and hits her head, knocking herself out. She wakes up the next morning with no recollection of the night before, but Alex doesn't realize she doesn't remember their kiss. Rosie tells Alex she wishes that night had never happened and doesn't want to talk about it ever again, which he takes as a sign of her rejection.Later on Rosie and Alex attend a bonfire on a beach, where they discuss the upcoming school dance. Rosie reveals she had been asked by Greg, the "fittest guy in school", but she turned him down because she and Alex had already planned to go together. Meanwhile, Alex has set his sights on a blonde named Bethany, who Rosie says might be hard to get due to the fact that Alex is still a virgin. He laughs it off, confidently telling Rosie how Bethany had wanted to go to the dance with him. Rosie suggests he take Bethany, and she take Greg. Alex agrees. The day of the dance Alex breaks the news that "virgin boy is no longer" to Rosie, adding that he lost it to Bethany. She looks unhappy for a few moments, but brushes it aside. That night Alex drives Rosie to the hotel where the dance is held, where they split up; Alex with Bethany and Rosie with Greg. Each couple has a great time on the dance floor, though Rosie and Alex sneak each other longing glances. Later on Rosie and Greg head up to a room, where their night doesn't exactly go as planned when Greg's condom falls off and becomes stuck inside Rosie. After Greg ditches her she calls Alex, who is still downstairs dancing with Bethany. He leaves Bethany to drive Rosie to the hospital where a male nurse removes the condom for her, though not without some awkward tension.A few months later Alex receives a scholarship to Harvard and Rosie gets accepted into a hotel management program at Boston University, so they plan to go to the United States together for college. However, Rosie visits a drugstore to find a solution for her recent nausea and the clerk, Ruby, suggest she take pregnancy test. After it comes back positive, she quickly realizes Greg is the dad. She decides not to tell Alex, because she knows he would stay home from Boston just to be there for her and she doesn't want him to have to throw his life away too. Rosie elects to have the baby and then give it up for adoption, so that she can still go to college in Boston and start a career, just a few months later than she had originally planned. Alex has to leave for the States without her, and they share a tearful goodbye in the airport.At home in England, Rosie continues to live at home with her parents, preparing to give up the baby for adoption. However, once she gives birth, she realizes she wants to keep her baby (a daughter). She names her Katie, and becomes a full time mom. One day while out pushing Katie in a stroller Rosie runs into Bethany, who tells Alex about Rosie and her baby. Alex flies to England to confront Rosie, who explains she didn't tell Alex because she wanted him to go to Harvard. Alex forgives her and spends a few days with Rosie and Katie. Rosie explains that Greg moved to Ibiza as soon as he heard Rosie was pregnant and Alex asks to be Katie's godfather. Eventually Alex must go back to the US while Rosie stays in England.Back in Boston, Alex is drinking alone at a bar when he approached by a blonde. She introduces herself as Sally and asks if Alex will buy her a drink; he agrees.As the years pass, Rosie and Alex stay in touch by sending videos to each other. Sally and Alex are in a relationship and have moved in together; Rosie has become friends with Ruby, the clerk from the drugstore; and Katie is growing up. Rosie and Ruby are both maids at a local hotel even though Rose still dreams of opening her own hotel. One day Alex sends Rosie a ticket to Boston and she is excited, thinking maybe something will finally happen between them. As she arrives at the airport, she and Alex share a joyful reunion. Alex takes Rosie around the city, where they spend the day exploring and flirting. After, they head back to Alexs apartment, where Sally has been waiting for Alex to return. Rosie stays for a lavish dinner with Alex and Sally where it becomes obvious Alex and Rosie are much more alike than Alex and Sally. It is also revealed that Sally is pregnant, which shocks Rosie because Alex hadnt told her. After dinner the trio attends an art show, put on by Sallys artist friend Herb. Rosie leaves the art show early and Alex chases after her. Rosie is upset that they had spent the day together while his pregnant girlfriend was at home, which Alex says doesnt matter because the two of them were just having some fun. They bicker, and Rosie leaves.In England, Rosie decides to reach out to Greg because she wants Katie to meet her dad. To her surprise, Greg actually shows up and asks Rosie to be a part of Katies life. She agrees, and the three of them start to do things as a family. Greg and Rosie get back together, and eventually get engaged. Alex is invited to their wedding, but does not show.A few weeks later Rosie decides to call Alexs apartment, and Sally answers. She tells Rosie that she and Alex had broken up around the time of Rosies wedding, but then her water breaks. Before Sally hangs up Rosie hears her shouting to Herb, the artist from the show. Rosie then texts Alex and asks what happened with Sally. Turns out she had been cheating with Herb and the baby was not Alexs.Rosies parents leave for a trip around the world and Rosie gets promoted to receptionist at the hotel. Bethany, now a successful model, catches up with Rosie one day while checking into the hotel. After hearing Bethany is traveling to Boston soon, Rosie suggests she look up Alex.Rosies father dies suddenly while on the vacation, leaving Rosie heartbroken. Alex returns to England for the funeral, and comforts Rosie. Greg arrives, oblivious to Rosies pain, and pulls her away. Alex realizes he loves Rosie and knows he would treat her better than Greg does. As he flies back to England he mails her a letter professing his love and tells her if she doesnt feel the same he wont ever bring it up again. As it arrives at Rosies house, Greg receives it and locks it in a desk drawer before Rosie can see it. Rosie decides to finally start following her dreams and begins to plan how to open her own hotel. By now Katie and Toby are teenagers and still as close as ever. Alex messages Rosie to ask one simple thing- if she is happy with Greg. After contemplating her answer, she responds that she, Greg and Katie are family, and she is happy with her family.Greg calls Rosie from his work trip, at the hotel where they had their school dance so many years ago, to inform her he will be staying there longer than he had originally anticipated over the weekend. After Ruby checks their hotels database, they find out he had reserved the bridal suite. Rosie and Ruby confront Greg at the hotel, where he is with another woman. After Rosie hooks him in the jaw, she returns home to begin throwing out all of Gregs possessions. While doing her deep clean, she comes across the locked desk drawer and finds Alexs letter. She immediately video chats Alex, but Bethany answers. Alex joins her and they reveal that they are engaged and getting married the next week. They ask Rosie to be the best man, and she accepts, trying to hold back her tears. Rosie expresses her despair to Ruby, saying that she and Alex just might not be right for each other. Ruby talks some sense back into Rosie, and convinces her to show up early to the wedding and tell Alex how she feels before it is too late. A week later, Rosie, Ruby, Katie, and Toby prepare to fly to America for the wedding. However, their flight is delayed and they arrive at the church just as Alex and Bethany are coming out. At the reception, Rosie gives a speech as the best man and recalls moments from her childhood with Alex, including the night of her 18th birthday which she cant remember. She then thanks Alex for being an amazing friend and the best thing that has ever happened to her. She promises that no matter what, she will always love him. After a pause, she quickly adds that she will love him like a sister loves a brother and a friend loves a friend. After the speech, guests begin to pair up to dance: Bethany and Alex, Katie and Toby, and Ruby and her new-found love, Phil. Toby leans in to kiss Katie but she shoves him off and runs out to the roof. Alex and Rosie, who had both witness the scene, follow her. Katie is shaken and tells them she will just ask Toby to forget what happened, but Alex warns her that if she rejects him now Toby will go the rest of his life, trying to find someone perfect but they will never be as good as her. It is clear Alex is not just talking about Tobys feelings. Katie still cant imagine that Toby would kiss her, saying it would be like if Rosie and Alex kissed.At this point Toby joins them on the roof, and Katie runs to him and pecks him on the lips. They head back to the party and Rosie and Alex are left alone.
Alex tells Rosie the truth about what happened the night of her 18th birthday, saying he had only just realized she didnt know that day. She realizes the only reason Alex had taken Bethany to their high school dance all those years ago was because he thought Rosie didnt feel the same. Even though it is obvious the two still love each other, nothing can be done about it. Rosie and Alex say goodbye at the airport and she, Katie, Toby, and Ruby return to England. There, Rosie buys a manor house and fixes it up to make it into her lodge. On the day of the grand opening, she hosts a party. Alex shows up out of nowhere, alone, with no bags or wife, requesting a room. Rosie takes him to a sea view suite and Alex turns to her, and asks her to the dance. Better late than never, Rosie replies, and with that, he sweeps her up in a passionate kiss.

            The film opens with some facts and figures about the Ford Dagenham factory and the number of people employed, a fraction of whom were women.Against a background of Desmond Dekkar's "The Israelites" the opening shot shows the sewing room where the seat covers and door panels are hand-sewn by women on individual sewing machines. Many of the women are stripped down to their underwear, presumably because of the hot working conditions.The union shop steward, Albert, played by Bob Hoskins, walks into the room, he has to shield his eyes in embarrassment from the half-undressed women. He tells them that the only way for the women to progress their claim against being regarded as unskilled workers is to take industrial action. They all agree to an overtime ban and a one-day strike.The women are then seen at a party celebrating a birthday, one of the girls slips out and is seen having sex in the back of a car (a Ford Corsair). She returns and they get rapidly drunk before staggering home.Rita is then shown having breakfast with her family. Husband Eddie has to be roused out of bed by Rita with a splash of cold water on his back! Rita's son complains that the teacher has hit him, Rita resolves to sort it out. She goes to the school to see the teacher, Mr. Clark, who is dressed in academic robe. He explains that he forgot his protractor on numerous occasions and was caned, he explains in a patronising way that children from the council estate sometimes couldn't cope and needed reminding on how to behave and not forget things. Rita is furious, leaves the classroom and bumps into another parent (later identified as Lisa) who, when she asks if she is OK, she tells to F.... off.Back at the factory we see all the women working, there's a leak in the roof, Connie points out that Sandra should be reminded about her workmanship. Albert comes and announces that there's to be a meeting at Ford HQ in Warley, and that 2 of the women should go, they nominate Connie, who is the shop steward, and Rita.At home Rita's family are watching Black & White TV, there's a news bulletin about a demo in London (Red Lion Square demo against Vietnam war) and then Sooty with Harry H. Corbett. We learn that Eddie also works at Fords.They're going to the meeting, on the way they stop at a Berni Inn for a steak dinner, apparently this is normal practice, we are introduced to Monty Taylor, the works convener, a stereotypical union representative. He tells them not to say anything and nod at everything he says. At the meeting the women, and Albert, quickly cotton on the fact that the union is selling them out. Rita intervenes and explains to the management the skills involved in their work. She lays down the womens terms to avoid industrial action semi-skilled status for the women. The management are taken aback. Back at the factory Rita explains how the women are being fobbed off. "Everybody out!" is the cry.In parliament we are introduced to Barbara Castle, Employment Secretary in the Labour Government. She is speaking to her young male officials complaining how they've done nothing to improve industrial relations. Strikes were up, productivity was down. Back at the factory we see the women on their picket line with placards. In the factory they are running low on seats. Ford HQ in Michigan USA are involved, they are told it's the women. Out on the picket line it starts to rain, the women are soaked, they are all smartly dressed in skirts no jeans! Afterwards Rita meets Albert in a cafe, he tells them it's not about skills, it's because they're women. What they need is equal pay with the men. Albert explains his own family background, brought up by his mum who struggled earning half what the men got in wages. Someone must stop this exploitation. He proposes that Rita should take over from shop steward from Connie, whose husband is ill.Outside, Rita, dripping wet, is invited in to a car, where she meets the woman she met in the school, who explains that Mr. Clark is a bully and she has also complained about his use of the cane. The woman is clearly more educated and better off than Rita. Rita admires her dress. It's from Biba she said. Ah well, it's still gorgeous Rita says.Back in the factory, Sandra arrives in skimpy hot pants. Inside a man arrives to dish out threatening letters from the management. Rita makes an inspiring speech, they need a level playing field! The strike was no longer about skill levels, now they wanted equal pay or nothing! Albert is with Monty and the other union leaders, who quote Marx, he quotes Marx back, but it's more relevant. Against a background of the Small Faces, Rita leads a demonstration, back at home Eddie isn't coping very well. Rita goes to Liverpool to meet the workers at Fords Halewood factory, she gets home late and finds Eddie washing up. Next day Eddie has to take the kids to school, tension is rising between Eddie and Rita. Eddie is down to his last clean shirt!The women go on a trip to London to demonstrate outside parliament, they unfurl their banner which says We want Sex. Barbara Castle looks out I know the feeling... she says, they then unfurl it to read We want sex equality. Eddie is in the pub watching the news bulletins with George, Connie's husband. George says that they need to settle it.In the factory they run out of seats. The production lines stop and all the workers are laid off. Back at home Eddie complains that Rita's action is causing hardship all round. Ford of US are telling the Dagenham management that they need to sort it. Barbara Castle talks to Harold Wilson. He patronises her, calling her the best man in his cabinet. He says that she should get Jack Scamp in to get everyone round the table with beer and pork pies, that would sort it.Ford bosses fly in from America, he goes to the Ford manager, Peter Hopkins house, where we now realise that Lisa, the woman who spoke to Rita about the school teacher, is also the wife of Peter Hopkins. He asks her what she thinks, it turns out that she is a highly educated woman, and she tells him how GM don't have industrial relations problems because they have a more collaborative approach. Peter is embarrassed and tells her to fetch more cheese!Rita is giving out strike pay - £3 each. She goes to see Connie. Connie says that she cannot come to any meetings because George is ill he's touched she says. We see George and Connie in bed, George is having a nightmare and wets the bed. The union leaders are threatening Monty, saying they cannot give women equal pay. Tension is rising at home where Rita's fridge is repossessed because they haven't paid the HP. Sandra gets a phone call, and goes into the factory to appear in a photo shoot for the new car. Rita finds her, tells her that she deserves to become a model, and that she hasn't broken the strike. This makes Sandra think, in the next shot she is wearing a skimpy bikini she has daubed equal pay on her midriff. Connie leaves for work, George tells her he's proud of her and loves her. Barbara Castle is told by her officials that they have been assured by the unions that the girls will do as they're told. At a meeting with the union bosses Albert Rita and Connie are told that there will be a vote at the union conference on whether to back the women. Connie goes home and finds George has hung himself. At the funeral Connie and the women are distraught. That evening Lisa Hopkins goes to see Rita at her flat to tell her that the Mr. Clark has been asked to leave the school. She admits who she is the wife of Peter Hopkins who, she says, treats her like a fool. She wishes Rita well, don't let me down, she says.Rita and Eddie confront each other, Eddie complains that he hasn't been a bad husband, but Rita dismisses him. She should have rights not privileges. They take the coach to Eastbourne, Eddie follows on his motor cycle. In the conference hall, Monty starts to address the delegates, he is interrupted by Rita and the other women, Rita addresses the delegates and seems to win them over. Eddie has turned up to apologise, Rita and Eddie make it up. The vote goes 79-48 to support the women.Barbara Castle rants at her officials when they say they can't set up a meeting with the striking women. She demands that that they follow her instructions. Ford bosses start to pull strings with Harold Wilson, Wilson says they mustn't upset Ford because they're such a big employer. Rita goes to see Lisa her husband is amazed that they are on first name terms. Rita borrows Lisa's Biba dress to wear at the meeting with Barbara Castle. Outside the government offices they have a press conference. The press ask them how they are coping. We're women says Rita. dont ask such stupid questions!We see the Ford boss Robert Tooley threatening Barbara Castle that if she gives in to equal pay demands they will move their factories elsewhere. The women meet Barbara Castle, she is won over, and tries to contact Wilson but is told he's on a plane. She decides to negotiate directly with Tooley, they agree to give the women 92% of male pay rates, and to introduce equal pay legislation into parliament. They've won! Outside they meet the press. Barbara Castle compliments Rita on her Biba dress, Rita explains how it's got to be returned that day, and returns the compliment to Barbara on her C&A outfit. To the sound of Jimmy Cliff's "You Can Get It If You Really Want" we see the workers returning to the factory, followed by a montage of actual 1960s news footage of the real characters.

            The movie begins with seaside views of Mallorca, Spain. In a hotel bathroom is Tammi (Nichola Burley) face-up in the bathtub. She gets up from the tub and starts to shave her armpits when she accidentally cuts herself. Her friends Lisa (Sian Breckin) and Kim (Jaime Winstone) come in and Lisa tells her that shes gorgeous; Tammi says no, shes a mess.They leave the bathroom and sit on the beds and Kim tells them that theyre going to love the place that theyre going to. Tammi gets a text message on her phone but Lisa takes it before Tammi could get to it. Lisa sees that its Ryan and Tammi immediately wants her phone back. Kim takes it from Lisa, and tells Tammi that hes toxic, sending Ryan a text reply, and gives the phone back to Tammi. Tammi sees that Kim wrote F*CK OFF 4EVR! to Ryan and laughs but Tammi tells Kim that she doesnt believe her. Lisa tells Tammi that she promised that she would have no contact with Ryan (who we should assume is Tammi's ex), and she pours them all vodka, toasting to Tammi for being brave and for their upcoming fun weekend together.As some credits roll, we see the three girls getting into a taxi and going to various bars, drinking, having fun, and flirting with a bunch of guys. At one place, they meet a group of guys. One of them asks what theyre drinking, and Kim answers champagne. He says hes paying and says his name is Marcus (Jay Taylor) and the collective group of Marcus and his friends and Kim and her friends end up stealing a bottle of champagne and taking it out with them.While sitting at a beach, Tammi and Lisa are talking and they cant believe that they were just at rainy Leeds and now theyre in sunny Mallorca. The three girls are hanging out on the beach with the guys when Kim asks what they all want to do next. Her friends dont want to go to another bar so one of the guys tell them that theyre welcome to hangout in their yacht. The girls learn that the guys are crewmen, not owners of the yacht. Lisa agrees for all of them and they make their way to the boat.On the dock, Lisa and Kim are excited, laughing with the boys and having fun. However, Tammi is obviously not sure about going with the boys and she overhears one guy telling the other guys that everythings going according to plan. Before they all get on, Tammi tells her friends that she might just go back to the hotel since she thought that it was supposed to be just the three of them for the weekend. Kim is fine with catching up with Tammi later, but Lisa tries to talk Tammi out of it and to just come on the boat for a drink.The guys call out to a guy on the boat named Sean, the boats engineer, and Lisa convinces Tammi to get on the boat. Kim learns that Sean and Josh are brothers. The girls see how large the boats downstairs area is and Josh gives them a tour of the boat and shows them the different bedrooms as well as the engine room.While Josh is giving the girls a tour, the guys talk about who theyre going to have. Bluey (Tom Burke) calls dibs on Kim, while Marcus gets Lisa, meaning that either Josh or his brother Sean get Tammi. The group party upstairs and Kim tries to make the music louder. However, Sean tells the group that they cant have the music too loud on the dock or theyll get in trouble. Kim says theyre going to leave, and the guys then suggest that they have their party on the high seas. Sean reluctantly agrees. Tammi is outside and Sean comes and flirts with her, teaching her how to unwind the rope tying the boat to the dock.Bluey comes up on deck and gives them all ecstasy pills. They all take a whole pill except for Tammi and Sean who each take a half. They anchor out and they swim in the ocean except for Bluey. They start talking about sex positions like Dirty Sanchez and Turkey when Bluey asks the group if theyve heard of a Donkey Punch. Marcus claims to have done it before and Bluey explains what it is (during anal sex, punching the back of the girls head at the right time to get a better orgasm). Meanwhile, Tammi is in the water with Sean and she talks about not wanting to go back to Leeds because there are people there she doesnt want to see anymore.Later on, Bluey has some smoking paraphernalia and claims that his drug is hardcore, in which Lisa answers that she is hardcore so she takes a hit and so does Kim. Bluey also gives Josh a hit. Kim, Bluey, Marcus, and Lisa go downstairs and start making out in the master bedroom when Josh comes down to watch. Bluey takes out a video camera and starts taping Lisa and Kim making out. Kim tries to get the guys to makeout but instead the guys have a competition on who has the best butt.Up on deck, Sean and Tammi are talking about their most recent past relationships. Seans being that the girl messed around with him and Tammis ex cheated on her with a close friend of hers. Tammi gets up to put some music on when she realizes that everyone else had gone downstairs. When she tells Sean that even Josh is gone, Sean is worried for a bit and is about to go downstairs but then Tammi starts making out with him.Meanwhile downstairs, Kim starts making out with Marcus even though shes really supposed to be with Bluey so Lisa takes Bluey and they all have sex in the master bedroom with Josh still watching them and videotaping the whole scenario. Then Bluey gets Lisa to let Josh have a go at her. Lisa and Josh are having sex doggie style with Bluey videotaping them and coaching Josh on when Bluey refers back to the Donkey Punch and tells Josh to do it, so Josh punches Lisa at the back of her head and she falls down.There is obviously something wrong and Kim and Marcus stop what theyre doing. Josh leaves the room in a hurry and Marcus goes out on the deck to tell Sean to come inside. Downstairs, Kim is huddled on the couch and we see Marcus checking for Lisas pulse. Sean comes in and checks her pulse and says he thinks shes dead. When the girls asked what happened, Bluey doesnt respond and Sean says that she must have overdosed. The girls leave the room and Sean says that hell alert the Coast Guard. However, Josh says that they shouldnt as there would be no point and they would be gone by the time they got there. Sean suspects that something else went on.Downstairs, Bluey and Josh talk about what just happened. Josh says that he didnt do anything but Bluey says he saw Josh. Marcus wants to know what really happened and Bluey tells Marcus that Josh donkey punched Lisa, but Josh starts to say that Bluey told him to, but Bluey denies it. Bluey tells Josh that the Donkey Punch is just a story and no one actually does it. Marcus cannot believe that it happened so Bluey shows him the videotape.Kim and Tammi are in another bedroom and Kim tells Tammi that she feels that Bluey and Josh are acting weird. Tammi asks, and Kim says that they were shouting and filming when Lisa died.Marcus finishes watching the tape and is angry at Josh for getting them all involved. The three boys go on deck to Sean and Marcus has Josh tell his brother what happened. Sean watches the tape and Josh asks Sean for his help. Marcus shuts off the yacht power and Marcus says that since theres a girl downstairs with a broken neck and that their DNA is all over her, theyre all going down for the crime. Josh suggests that they could say that she fell overboard.Downstairs, Kim and Tammi are freaking out because their cell phones dont have service.Upstairs, the guys continue talking about what they should do, as Sean points out that Kim and Tammi arent going to agree to lie about Lisa falling overboard. Bluey suggests that they dump the two girls as well which makes Sean freak out and say that its Blueys fault that this happened because he supplied the drugs and told the stories. Bluey says that Josh did it and Josh tells him to shut up and not to push his luck and surprisingly, Bluey listens to him. Bluey apparently throws the tape out into the sea. The guys continue talking about the situation and agree that they cant go to the police and get in trouble as well. Still Sean says that someone needs to tell the girls.Downstairs the guys sit the girls down and say that they should all do the right thing. When Tammi asks what that means, Marcus tells her that as far as the Coast Guard was concerned, Lisa fell overboard. Tammi says that theyre mental. Marcus asks the girls how long theyve known Lisa for, and if they want to be the ones to tell Lisas parents how she really died. Marcus says that he just wants whats best for everyone. Kim says that she knows that Josh killed Lisa, and that its all on tape. Josh denies there being a tape and Marcus says that a decision has been made. Marcus and Josh go to the master bedroom where Lisas body is covered in a bedsheet. Marcus lifts the sheet up and sees a dark bruise on the back of Lisas neck. Sean comes in and helps Marcus carry the body out when Josh points out that they have to be in international waters and Sean tells him to shut up. Marcus says that they need to do it now and while the girls are still scared. Up on deck Marcus gives Josh instructions to stop the boat and anchor. While theyre tying up Lisas body to be thrown overboard, Sean says that its not right but Marcus says that hes worked too hard to have his brother mess it all up and that this way everyone gets their lives back. Sean says Not everyoneDownstairs, a scuffle goes on between Kim and the guys. Bluey is holding Kim back and Josh is holding Tammi. Kim claims that shes going to tell the police, while Josh retorts that that would mean telling the police about the drugs that she did and how she was having sex with a stranger. Kim gets away from Blueys hold and takes a knife from the kitchen. She manages to get up on deck and points the knife at Marcus to stop them from throwing Lisa overboard. Marcus gets the knife away from Kim and Bluey comes to hold her as they dump Lisas body into the sea.

While Marcus is in the water, Kim and Tammi run to the boat controls and make the boat start going again while Marcus is still in the water, so he almost gets caught in the propellers.Marcus gets out safely though, and the girls downstairs try to look for something that would put them in contact with help. Tammi is in the guys room and Sean finds her there and offers her his jacket. He tells her that they are the only two on the boat that are sane, but Tammi is angry at him for helping the guys get rid of Lisas body. Sean want to sincerely help Tammi, and tells her that she just needs to keep Kim in control.Bluey and Josh are in the control room and talk about how they couldve lost Marcus in the sea and that they need to look out for each other. Josh suggests that with Marcus being the acting skipper of the boat however, it would be all Marcus fault. Bluey realizes that Josh is trying to blame everything on Marcus, so Bluey shows Josh that he didnt throw the videotape evidence away into the sea like they thought he did. Obviously, Josh only cares about keeping himself looking innocent.Marcus finishes his shower and finds that Bluey is waiting for him right outside. Josh is walking around looking for Marcus to tell him that Bluey still has the tape and Kim tells him that hes in the shower but makes a point to talk about dropping the soap and anal sex which angers Josh and he throws Kim into a room. Josh then sees Tammi and asks the same thing. Marcus followed by Bluey walks towards them and tells Tammi that they have 45 minutes until they hit international waters and that everyone was going to stay there so that he can keep an eye on everyone. Bluey tells the girls to make them all a meal.Over dinner, Josh tells Marcus, with 20 minutes left, that Bluey kept the tape. Sean freaks out because this means that Josh is going to get all the blame. Marcus asks Bluey what hes going to do with the tape and Bluey says hes going to put it on the Internet and that Josh was going to be a Youtube superstar. Marcus asks the girls if theyre going to do the right thing. Tammi apparently gives in however, and tells them that she was going to tell the police that Lisa died from an alcohol overdose. Bluey tells them that he doesnt like the fussing and fighting and tries to touch Kim and Tammi tells him to leave her alone. Bluey says that Tammi is just jealous that Kim gets all the attention and says that was probably why her boyfriend was sleeping around, going as far as betting that Kim slept with Tammis ex (which turns out to be true, explaining why Kim told Tammi that Ryan was toxic in the beginning of the movie). Bluey continues to talk and Tammi angrily stabs him on the shoulder with the bread knife. Marcus tries to choke Tammi and Sean pulls him off. Kim pulls Tammi away into a room and locks it. Sean knocks and tells her to open the door but they leave through the roof and get on the life raft away from the boat.However, they left without the motor and Kim lets out a flair so the guys could find them again instead of drifting off in the sea. The boat comes and Sean throws them a rope but Marcus comes with a shotgun telling the girls to get out of the boat. Kim takes Marcus by surprise and fires a flare into Marcus and Marcus, now on fire, flails around, and falls into the ocean and dies.Sean brings Tammi and Kim back inside, past where Bluey is still sitting in the same place from when he got stabbed by Tammi, and into the guest bedroom. Josh locks them in there and Sean is in the control room and turns off all the power. Sean tells Josh that they need to find the keys. Josh finds the keys in the master bedroom but tells Sean that Marcus must have had them on him. Sean tells Josh to call for help since Bluey needs to get properly treated for his stab wound. Again, Josh doesnt do it and instead hides the communicator. Josh carries Bluey into the bathroom and tries to get him to say where the tape is.Tammi runs through the glass door to get out of the room they were locked in and gets cut on her knee on some glass. Josh is using Blueys cocaine to get Bluey to tell him where he hid the tape and it works, and Bluey says that its under the bed. Tammi is passing by the bathroom and overhears Bluey so she gets to the tape first and hides. Josh looks for the tape under the bed and cant find it. Tammi is hiding in the closet and Josh runs back to the bathroom and thinks that Bluey was lying to him, so Josh pushes the knife still in Blueys shoulder farther in while Bluey screams in pain. Tammi knocks on the door and tells Josh to leave Bluey alone because he doesnt have it. Josh hears this and takes the knife out of Bluey. Josh comes out of the bathroom and sees Tammi and tells her that Bluey died because he lost too much blood but Tammi knows what happened and calls him a liar. Kim comes and has the shotgun and aims it at Josh.With the gun still aimed at him, Kim gets Josh to start the boat again and says that he cant communicate with anyone because Marcus reset all the channels (really Josh hid the communicator). Josh says that if Sean is in the engine room, he could die in there so Tammi leaves Josh and Kim alone to get Sean. Tammi finds Sean and gets him out of the engine room. Meanwhile Josh tells Kim that if Tammi gave the tape in as evidence then even she would get in trouble, so if they helped each other and stuck to the same story then they could both come out from it clean. Josh tricks her and gets the gun and runs down to shoot Tammi. Sean gets the gun away from Josh but Kim thought that Sean was shouting at Tammi instead of Josh, so she grabs the outboard motor (the one that belongs to the dingy), starts it up, and uses it like a chainsaw on Sean.Tammi is angry at Kim for killing Sean, because Sean was trying to help them. Kim runs up to the deck and commits suicide by throwing herself overboard because she feels bad about killing Sean.Tammi and Josh are the only ones left and decide that they cant be found on the boat so they get on the life raft. When they're a good distance away from the boat, Josh takes a knife out of his pocket and threatens Tammi with it, telling her to throw the tape away. She throws it at him but at the same time she throws a rope connected to the boat around his neck, pulling him back and breaking his neck.Tammi is now alone on the life raft and lets out a flare. The movie ends with her laying on the life raft the way that she was laying in the bathtub at the beginning of the movie.

            The film begins with a young woman climbing into the bath and slashing her wrists. Her husband, Stephen (Richard Harrington) comes home and finds her dead. Some time later, he is in hospital visiting his mother, who is dying, when he bumps into his boss, Eisner (Mark Lewis Jones). He asks his boss if he can come back to work, and his boss agrees, giving him some medication. The next day, in work, he is given a patient, a teenage girl called Nina (Jaime Winstone), who has slashed her wrists. Nina tells him that she didn't mean to do it, she just fell. Her mother Liz (Louise Delamere) enters and tells him that she doesn't want Nina seeing a psychiatrist but he argues that it is in her best interests. As he finds out more about her, she tells him that she sucked the blood so people wouldn't find out what she had done. He tells her about his mother, who is dying. When he leaves, Nina sees a boy having a blood transfusion and asks if she can drink it, but is interrupted by the nurse. Instead, she goes to find Stephen's mother and drinks her blood instead. The hospital call Stephen and tell him that his mother has had an accident, and he arrives there and argues with the nurses. Later on, he is outside, when Liz approaches him and she tells him some more about Nina. Nina watches from her room. Some time later, Stephen is at his mother's funeral. He sees Nina in the distance and goes to talk to her. She tells him she felt bad for him, and wanted to see that he was OK. He takes her home, and talks to her. Stephen's boss warns him about getting involved with patients but he tells him there is nothing wrong with what he is doing. One night, his plumbing leaks so he ends up spending the night with Liz, when she calls him to tell him that Nina has assaulted her. She tells him about Nina's father being found with a needle in his arm, when Nina was 6. They end up sleeping together, and go out the next day. Nina brings another patient of his, Lucy over, and sucks her blood. Later, Lucy tells him the problem. He interviews Nina, and she is very rude to him, telling him she knows he is fucking her mother. A member of staff overhears this and keeps the tapes. He goes to tell Liz about Nina, and they kiss, but Nina sees this and runs away to the train station, where she bites a man's lip for some blood. She arrives at Stephen's flat where he washes her hair (using heated water from the kettle, because he disconnected the water supply) and puts her to bed. She later stands over him with a needle, but we do not see her inject it. The next day, at work, he is seen bleeding, and injects himself with something, despite telling Nina previously he was scared of needles. His boss catches him and tells him that he is suspending him over his relationship with Liz. He goes back home and drowns himself in the bath, only for Nina to rescue him. She ties him up and sticks needles in him, and tells him about a tribe who survive by drinking the blood of their cattle. An estate agent arrives and sees him semi naked on the floor, and berates him for this, only for Nina to attack him from behind. Liz enters and the screen fades to black. Later, Stephen's boss is with Liz, telling her that he killed the estate agent and disappeared. Liz then goes to the basement and gives Stephen some water to keep his strength up. Nina comes in and sucks his blood through a straw and the film finishes.
