Indigo Felton is an Australian actor, stage performer and master of ceremonies.After a successful international stage career and no stranger to the spotlight, Indigo turned his focus to film and television and has trained and been mentored by the likes of Australian acting coaches such as Les Chantery, Greg Apps, Alexsi Velis and Robyn Moase.With a passion for film, Indigo made his first film debut as Henry in Jackie Chan's Chinese production "Impetuous Love In Action". With his stage and dance background, this allowed Indigo to study the martial art form "Wing Chun" and was honored with the task of designing and choreographing the title dance routine "Wing Chun Style" for the movie. Not only did he perform the dance onscreen (speaking in both English and Mandarin), Indigo was also called upon to perform his own stunts in an action sequence that included fight combat manoeuvres.Other movie credits include Australian film "Head Above Water" where he flexed his comedic muscle as surf commentator Mac O'Brien on Sydney's Bondi Beach.Indigo's television debut came soon after and has appeared as the charismatic Victor in season 5 of the award-winning drama "A Place to Call Home", as well as Tyson in the long running Australian TV soap "Home & Away", both on the Seven Network, not to forget Shakespeare in director Paul Currie's "Screen Stars" pilot.To his credit, Indigo also joined the cast of season 2 of the worldwide hit web series "The Horizon". Based on the LGBTQ community in Sydney, Australia. Cast as bad boy AJ McRay this earned him the coveted award for "Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama" at The Los Angeles Web Festival. Indigo also reprised this role in a television pilot adaptation, directed by famed "Priscilla Queen Of The Desert" director Stephan Elliott. Indigo was in The Horizon cast for 7 successful seasons.Behind the scenes, Indigo created the blueprint for Pierce Brosnans character Louis XIV in the dance workshop of the "The Kings Daughter".International stage credits include the hit Broadway musical "Chicago" playing the role of Fred Casely, as well as the Great American Laughing Stock Company's season of "Shakespeare In The Park" where he performed dual roles of Antigonus and Prince Florizel in "The Winters Tale". Indigo also originated the lead role of Dracula at Universal Studios "The Midnight Monsterfest".In Australia, his national musical theatre tours include "Priscilla Queen of The Desert" as an understudy and ensemble swing. He also appeared on the ARIA nominated original Cast Recording. He was featured in Mel Brooks original Australian Cast of the "The Producers" and performed as actor and dancer in Neil Young's "Greendale Concert Tour".He has also performed in productions for "Opera Australia", "The National Theatre" and in various cabaret, fashion shows, and corporate events across the country.He can be seen in numerous television commercials and print campaigns nationally and internationally.As a "Master of Ceremonies" Indigo hosts events on both a national and international scale. From product launches, business conferences, charity auctions, film panels, preview screenings, film premieres and opening nights. Indigo works with such recognized brands such as Beverly Hills, California, United Airlines, Oz Comic Con, ReedPop, Reebonz, Event Cinemas and The Buzz Group as part of his client portfolio. As interviewer his guest list includes acclaimed actors such as Cary Elwes, Pilou Asbeck, Julian Dennison, Aly Michalka, Dichen Lachman, Cristy Carlson Romano and directors Leigh Whannell and Julius Avery.
