She was scouted while at a video shop with her father when in sixth-grade by ABP. They remain her management agency today. She became a regular on TV Tokyo's daily morning show Oha Suta (short for Ohayo Studio or 'Good Morning Studio') in 2007. She had already signed on to become a model for the Nico Puchi magazine, but did not stay and moved on to Love Berry Magazine.
