Edward Kasper was born in Bellflower, California, and at the age of eight, he and his family moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas, for a more mellow lifestyle. As a child,Edward was always hamming it up in front of the camera. It seemed Edward always wanted to be the center of attention. He performed in school programs and sang in several bands. After graduating high school, Edward enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed at Camp Pendleton with a United States Marine Corps unit. After his six years of active duty, Edward moved to Ventura, California where he met local filmmakers and became entrenched in all sorts of independent films. The close proximity to Santa Barbara and Los Angeles helped as well, when more and more independent filmmakers began casting Edward in their productions.
