Born in Woodbury, New Jersey, Doug Jeffery spent the early part of his life honing the craft of being an entrepreneur. He was a self-made businessman at an early age having a hot dog cart business as a teenager. In his twenties, Doug toured the world as the official host for Chippendale's. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of acting.Doug has had a very successful career as a working actor. He was a leading man in over a dozen feature films. He also was a celebrity host for the History Channel's "Where Did It Come From?" and a celebrity judge on "Beauty and the Geek".While in Los Angeles, Doug also became known for his carpentry skills by making furniture as a hobby. From having his pieces sold in a handful of small boutiques, to using a friend in the movie business to build sets, Doug spent the next few years hammering away at his craft, literally. This led him to becoming a Construction Coordinator. He worked on several Comedy Central shows such as The Man Show and Crank Yankers both of which filmed at Hollywood Center Studios where Doug's company, 41 Sets, is today.With confidence in his abilities as a businessman, Hollywood Center Studios was swift to offer Doug the opportunity to have his own space on the HCS lot. Doug incorporated his age into his company's name as he was 41 at the time.
