This Michigan born actor, producer and writer has built an impressive career in the entertainment industry. As CEO of Collective Development Inc. and as an independent producer he's supervised and/or participated in the overall production of dozens of feature films in all genres and formats.His award winning films such as "Wicked Spring," "An Ordinary Killer," "Dean Teaster's Ghost Town," "Forty Nights," and "Chasing the Star" have been distributed throughout the world market. DJ while selective about project involvement has a reputation for delivering high quality product while staying on schedule and budget. In addition, he has produced select major commercial projects for companies such as Toyota, JBL and Baker Publishing.As a screen writer several of his scripts have been produced into feature length motion picture - five scripts in the last 3 1/2 years. Three of his screenplays "Dean Teaster's Ghost Town" (Lionsgate) (7 weeks as #1 western rental), "Wild Michigan" and "Knight Chills" (Source Point Publishing) have been novelized for publication and distribution. He has several scripts in development for production with a variety of international companies.As an actor, he's become a highly sought out talent moving easily between protagonist and antagonist roles - supporting and leads. Recent roles have included 'Jesus' in parts 1 & 3 of The Quest Trilogy, mountain man 'Ben Lily' in "Wild Faith" and disabled Marine vet Paul Landings, in "MBF" releasing next year.He's shared the screen with many legends of the entertainment industry.
