Studied acting in The Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow. Began his career in the film directed by Eugeni Ginzburg Voices of fish (2008). Allso known for his performance in TV series Bros (2009-2014). Next he starred in Robin Kampiyo's Eastern Boys (2012) . The film was nominated for 3 French César awards. Vorobyov later starred in the romantic drama Out of love (2016). The film took part in the Rotterdam Film Festival (IFFR 2016) in the main program Bright Future. The short film Prayer the debut of Vorobyov as director in co-creation with Eugene Tkachuk received 12 awards at various festivals.
