Céline Beran was born in College Station, Texas, to a Czech father, a professor of mathematics and musician, and Indian mother, a research statistician. She grew up in Zurich and was raised multilingual in English, German, Swiss German and Bengali, and she is fluent in French and Italian.She first trained as a dancer (Zurich Dance Academy) and performed at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York and Tanzolymp Berlin. While graduating with a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Zurich, she was cast as the lead in Hanna at Keller62, directed by Lubosch Held. She then attended David Kagen's School of Film Acting LA, after which she moved to London, receiving her formal training and graduating from Drama Studio London and the Trinity Laban Conservatory. Since 2020, Céline lives in Los Angeles.Whilst in London she worked extensively in theater, including lead appearances in Yerma, The Seagull, Tender Is the Night, and as Tina Turner in TINA - The Rock Legend, performing at venues such as the New Diorama Theatre London, Tonhalle Zurich, Wiener Stadthalle & Tempodrom Berlin.
