Young love sustains them, and their new life appears complete when Gülten gives birth to a son.Short of money and with a new baby to provide for, their relationship becomes strained. Fariz drives longer shifts and Gülten finds work at a local supermarket. Unknown to her, Fariz has secretly reverted to his old gambling habit and is losing. The couple becomes increasingly distant as Fariz is consumed with the guilt and financial burden from chasing his growing losses. As pressure mounts the couple is forced to examine the choices they made for love and face the consequences of their devotion, when a face appears from Gültens past bent on restoring family honor and Fariz considers one last bet that could lead to the ultimate betrayal.
