Ben Bocko is an Actor, Director, and Cinematographer born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. His mother is a published Geologist and retired Science Teacher who raised him as a single parent. His late father, who passed away while Ben was in high school, was a Finish Carpenter who enjoyed working on boats. His parents' combined heritage gives Ben a blend of Scottish, French, English, Polish, Native American (Panawahpskek), and a small percentage of African.Ben has been performing on stage since he was five years old. His first home as a young actor was with The New Hampshire Theatre Project in Portsmouth, where he began honing his craft throughout Middle School and High School. He attended Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, where he continued working and studying as an actor, set builder, and lighting technician with the college's resident Shakespeare Troupe, The Oxford Street Players. In 2012, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography with Minors in Art History and Design. Since then, he has supported himself as a creative professional and continues to run his own photography and video production business.In 2017, he graduated from the Tom Todoroff Conservatory, where he studied under notable faculty such as Giles Foreman, Austin Pendleton, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Emily Bergl, Miriam Silverman, Julia Lenardon, Andrew Wade (RSC), and Jean-Claude van Itallie.Ben has been performing in various off-off Broadway productions and Theatre Festivals around New York City over the last few years.
