Anne was born in San Mateo, CA, when her Dad was on assignment with the FBI. Reared in Houston, Anne studied dance with local legend Halle Pritchard, teacher of Ann Miller. At four, Anne appeared on an NBC cooking segment with her Mother and guest, Tom Poston - Bob Newhart Show. Anne volunteered to teach minority kids in Houston's 5th Ward in the VISTA program. Aspiring to be a ballerina, Anne participated in the first Houston Ballet cast. She hung up pointe shoes to win statewide honors in high school speech competitions. Following her young husband's career, Anne resumed theatrical acting and ballet after heart surgery while serving as a management consultant. Today, Anne has an exclusively theatrical career.
