Alexis Milan was born and raised in Englewood, New Jersey. In her early teens, she was encouraged by her mother to begin modeling as a way for her to gain confidence and overcome shyness. Her first job was a back-to-school spread in Seventeen Magazine, after which she continued booking major jobs including spreads for Marc Ecko and Baby Phat. Upon graduating, she enrolled in college where she maintained a 4.0 g.p.a. but at the age of 19 and with the support of her family she withdrew from her classes and moved to Los Angeles to further her modeling and acting career. Since then she has been featured in music videos with some of musics best including Trey Songz & Fifty Cent. In addition to working as a model and up and coming actress, she also hosts various Hollywood events and red carpets for magazines, radio stations and websites.
