Australian actress Alana de Freitas was born in Melbourne and began acting at age nine with the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy, and continued right through her schooling, receiving her Victorian Certificate of Education for Drama Studies. Since relocating to Los Angeles, she has studied at the Groundlings School, Ivana Chubbuck Studios and the Beverly Hills Playhouse.Her first glimpse into professional acting was on the set for Michael Rymer's 2002 vampire feature, 'Queen of the Damned'. In 2007, Alana gained a position with 'LifeFunk TV' which saw her branch out into presenting. As a roving reporter reviewing nightclubs, bars and restaurants, as well as sourcing new talent in the fashion industry and conducting interviews with up-and-coming designers.Her most recent work includes a large supporting role in the horror feature film 'Bashira' due for release early in 2020 - directed by Nickson Fong (Academy Award winning VFX Artist) and produced by Steven Krone (president of Village Roadshow for 15 years); as well as the lead role in the romantic drama, 'Before the Dawn', exclusive to Amazon Prime.31 October 2019 - IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
